Alex seems very cool 😎🤙 I agree, magnificent property! It's got everything. Nice view, lovely beach, But also some altitude to protect against storm surge. And I say his traditional hut looks super cozy! Notice that you can see light through the flooring, the whole place is designed to let air flow through it instead of block it. So if you get some major storm, The house acts more like a screen than a window and less stress is put on the structure from the blowing wind.

Great to see you covered part of Dauin and Tambobo Bay in Siaton, Micheal. What a lovely beach property your friend Alex has. Negros Oriental is beautiful island. Many hidden places to explore. It takes energetic adventurous vlogger like you to show these places. Many visitors of the island only knew Dumaguete and that’s it. Many are all nailed to first impressions of dusty streets, congested roads, old shabby buildings with sometimes some negativity, then they come to conclusions. Thanks for exposing other lovely places of our island. Kudos to your friend Alex who generously showed you around. A great humble guy. Your channel is growing faster😮🎉

Just come across your vlog, interesting. Thanks featuring Negros Or /Dauin. We must have passed by this beach area when we did coastal walk from Dumaguete to Antulang, Siaton in 1992. I thought we went inland as we hit the rocky bits by your friend's property as we can't carry on the coastal walk at high tide/rough seas. We come out on a more beachy part of Antulang which belong to Siaton, where our friend at that time started his Beach Resort, the Kokoosnest. Check it out when you have time. Though he's not running it this time, had leased it to couple of Brits, it's a chill place. Your friend Alex has all the reason to come back for good to the Philippines, he has great beach property.

The design of your Alex's property is awesome. That beachfront area reminds me of stuff out of movies. It really is paradise. But very sad about 2011 destroying the aquatic habitat with the coral reef being washed up out of the ocean like that. I don't know if you've ever watched those tv shows that show what happens if people went extinct. It shows how the vegatation takes over ect; that's what the German man, Alex's neighbor's place reminded me of. I had thought about living on the water before when I was younger, before health problems got bad. I wanted to live on a house boat at a marina in Florida... before I moved here. If i can ever afford a nice size boat (i don't need luxury, like a yacht. Even though they're beautiful), it would be cool to be able to live the "nomad" type life, sailing around the world. But a lot of research on my part will have to be done. Maybe dock in Mexico for awhile near Cabo San Lucas. Learn Portuguese and sail down to Brazìl- who knows- that chapter tor me hasn't been written yet. Another thing I've seen, when I was with that LDR, we were house hunting online, I found the coolest thing 🤩🤩🤩... even though it's crazy expensive lots of homes in Huntington Beach, California have docks attached to the house. Front door goes out to the street and ho out your back door there's your boat slip. However the ideal would be that but closer to LA fir dance classes, agencies, auditions etc. So many choices Not enough money But change needs to happen Evolution starts with a single step

I've been to Dauin. I haven't seen its underwater diving scenes, but its beachfront is not that inviting. The only attraction l like in Dauin is the reconstructed/restored Spanish era convent, restored sometime in 1991, if i remember it right, with its creaking second floor wooden floor, purposely designed to creak in order to catch intruders. There is also a peeping hole at the second floor entrance floor, about less than an inch in diameter, designed for the house parish priest to peep down secretly to catch intruders. But the second floor CR or bathroom is completely modern, with white ceramic tiles and a ceramic basin, and completely modern plumbing. The bamboo "amakan" ceiling is imported from Thailand because the Filipino restorers found it better-made than the bamboo amakan made in the Philippines.
