The Duke Blue Devils won their third ACC Championship in a row and did so by beating their rival UNC Tar Heels 75-58. The Blue Devils led the game wire to wire for their 19th ACC Tournament Championship in school history. Nolan Smith was the leading scorer in the game with 20 points while also dishing out 10 assists. Smith was named ACC Tournament MVP. Seth Curry and Kyle Singler each scored 11 points for Duke. Harrison Barnes was North Carolina's leading scorer with 16 points, and John Henson had a 10-point, 18-rebound double-double.

Well Mike did have Roy's number in this decade. We have 2 things over Dooook Blue Satan's or Devils. #1 . Michael Jordan. #2 UNC 81. DUKE 77 2022 final 4 and Mike's 1st and last loss. Both to Da Tar Heels!!! Can't wait to knock Duke from that #1 ranking this season!!!

The Final Four was more meaningful, sure. But this was still pretty important. It was for an ACC title. And Duke fans love Singler and Nolan Smith far more than they love Paolo Banchero. Duke has beat UNC in a lot of meaningful games over the years, btw. I think all in all, Duke fans are at peace with last season even if sucked to lose to UNC at the time. Making a Final Four is always great.
