The famous "Intermezzo" from the Italian composer Mascagni's opera "Cavalleria Rusticana" sounds dramatic and evocative. The beautiful melody is slightly mournful in a compassionate tone, like a farewell, and like the last evening sunset in life. After the splendor, everything will be far away, everything will finally return to peace.

This orchestra has an amazing string section. They can control the sound and be so much expressive. I wonder why a world famous conductor as Dudamel knows nothing about performing traditions about this piece. Why he just conduct it in tempo, without any particular expressive meaning. Everyone choose his own interpretation of the music, but also is important to do not be self related, ignore the idea of the composer and the history behind us. We adore and admire people and make them super star, but in the end we are all ants compared with the genius that show us the real beauty. I am nothing good, but I am not alone...
