both pistons sharing same crank journal absolutely normal on a L twin and V twins.

haha that was the V4S mate this is the 1199 👍 It was from a blocked up oil cooler

How did you get the cases split without lifting up the cylinder sleeves? I am struggling with that as I don't have the cylinder puller tool yet. Thanks

Great videos!! Question, do you know a good instruction other than the shop manual to time the camshaft on the 1199 engine, when assembling it. I am stuck on adding the timing chain to and timing the camshafts.

Breaking the bike down now bud, I can get back more than I paid for it so doesn’t make sense to put loads of money back into getting it running again 👍

@@chrisperry8061 yeah it is a shame but then again would be even more of a ball ache if it wasn’t right after rebuilding ect 🤣 Exhaust can had seen better days, was a bit rusty, got the headers though, all on eBay 👍

It’s all on eBay dude. Cap will be sold with ignition set though 👍
