The desmodromic opener valve setup adjustment is straight forward but fiddly valve adjustment in relation to having to use a specified too to take the clearance.

I absolutely agree with you. This was one of my first videos nade 8 years ago! I think you'll find my more recent stuff easier to watch.

great video...it does help a lot. However could you tell me which program you used to measure the belt tension? In the service manual the recommended tension is 142Hz . Has anything changed in the measurements?

do you "strum" the lower part of the belt aswell ,do both tensioners/pulleys adjust the tension or is it just the top one of each pair ...thanks just about to do my 1200 mts

It seems progress is the decline of quality. I have never replaced a cam drive component on my 65 250.

Its not a black art as long as you have your belt listening device....

It would be a lot more informative if you would speak up a bit and get rid of the back up noises, otherwise it is a waste of time to watch this video.

+radrcer Wow ....you have 2 useless videos uploaded to your channel and thumb this down based on a beep and music that apparently reminds you of your wedding. Always amazed by keyboard quarterbacks. Thanks James Wright-Roberts, your video was easy to follow and got me through my belt change in no time.

Dude if you want make an informative video speak up can barely hear you and that beeping is another annoying aspect of this vid. WTF to save this vid get rid of the existing audio and record a voice over. I can see you have clear understanding of the process it's just not coming across as.
