I'm an Italian who came to Dublin in 2006, and lived here for 5 years, before a career promotion took me to London. While to many London is an incredible, iconic city with a buzz and vibe, and they would consider themselves fortunate to have a well-paid job in the City... my heart has been crying since 2011 to return to Dublin. The friendliness of the people, the pub atmosphere, the beauty of the city itself, the culture and music, and the craic (of course!) all make it the most amazing place I have ever lived. I'll be back, you can count on it!

I go about every 10 years since I’m a kid to see family and we always go it’s between May and August I have been so blessed by the weather it’s always been sunny. Even on the days it started out raining it became beautiful. Very blessed

I'm English and have visited Dublin quite a few times and love the place, the people are Friendly and the city has a great buzz about it, love all the pubs with great music, once you've been to Dublin you want to go back, its been about 5 years since i was there, i must go back soon, people talk about London but give me Dublin any day it's a great city.

I have been blessed to have lived in Dublin all my life. I have traveled far and Wide. From Paris, London, Spain, China, Russia, United States, Cuba, South Africa and many other countries. It’s only when you travel around the world that you really appreciate how much an incredible city and country we have.

The background music is just so uplifting for me. If I hear it I immediatly have a smile on my face.

I lived in Dublin for 8 months. I loved the city. I even miss Dublin while living in New Jersey in the United States

I definitely agree that even though Dublin is the country's biggest city, it has a small town feel, which is one of the things that makes it so special! I'm a musician and I moved to Dublin from NYC about six months ago. I love it here. I've been posting weekly videos of my travels around Ireland and Europe in general!

If for anything, Ireland is a mere copy of england and has no other major city outside dublin. the whole Ireland is barely the size of londons population. u want to compare a country with Canterbury, Bath, Lincon, Oxford, Cambridge, manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, cotswald, Durham, Gloucester, Britstol, Brighton, to one with....cork, galway and...? just stop making flimsy comparison. the development index of ireland is about 92.6% and Britain is 90.9% with the low standard in northern Irealnd and Wales u will know that that of england alone would have been over 93%. i have been to dublin mind u. its just a caricature of, say, richmond.

English- is the main language in Ireland :) some people can speak gaelic (Irish) and kids are tough own language at schools.

@@hongquang3849 as an irish i can confirm all you need is english however there are regions in ireland called gealtacht areas such as connemara where irish is spoken daily as a first language and all irish students are required to learn irish in school. Go raibh míle maith agat as an gceist

Omg what a lovely city! How come i visit London every summer, yet I missed Dublin 🥰

Back in April 2004 I had the pleasure of visiting Dublin with a tour group. We did get to see the Book of Kells at Trinity College. It is kept in a darkened room to preservation a purposes. It is considered the national treasure of Ireland.

Yet one place is which I'd like to visit.

This is the place I got my first kiss at... Been over a year ever since I left it, I miss it, still the most gorgeous place I've been to as of today.

From my travels I have been through Shannon Ireland Airport a few times and really enjoyed the atmosphere when awaiting the next flight. It would be interesting to see and travel the city of Dublin. I like the educational aspect as well as the shipping lanes. The Temple bar looks interesting as well. I do enjoy Guinness as a tasty beverage. Best regards to future travels.😎
