I'd been there several years ago, it's an oasis built out of the desert, very impressive. The infrastructures are very new and mordern, buildings are high and roads are broad. Fancy cars can be found everywhere, especially in the parking lots of Emirates mall and Dubai mall, where you can buy almost all kinds of luxury goods. It is really a paradise, but for the rich only.

I am an Indian resident in dubai and consider myself as a middle class person and have been living here in dubai since birth. I also nested the same mentality that dubai is only for the rich but then the services Dubai has been providing recently made me change my way of thought. Public transport(buses/metro/tram) is cheap. Taxis are available ANYWHERE in the country at ANY time. Petrol is cheap(compared to rest of the world). Tax free income. Cars are cheap(compared to rest of the world). They had also made expo 2020 completely free for all students. Low crime rate. etc. These are just few of the many reasons why Dubai is literally for everyone.

You can find places in Dubai that are pretty cheap and good but it’s mostly only the locals and people who were born and raised in the city that know about them. Touristy places on the other hand are expensive. Just like anywhere else in any big city full of tourists

People say Dubai is an empty, soul-less city because it's really quiet there. It's so peaceful even in the malls or airport. I have never felt unsecured when I was walking on the streets even in the middle of the night or midnight. Women there have freedom, they can even go out alone at night to have shisha. I like it that way. It's so peaceful. That's why I miss there a lot.

The skyline is superb. It looks like Miami meets Tokyo but in a century ahead of the rest of the world. I agree with some people saying it's a soulless place but just to think until the early 2000's nobody never ever heard of UAE and now it's this. Incredible job done

Some parts of Dubai where labourers and poor minorities live, are filled with garbage and pollution. The main roads and tourist destinations get cleaned the most. That's why they're good to look at.

@@lucas82 absolutely and I hope so , because unfortunately their countries never offer them anything as citizens, most of them never get help or any basic human needs as human in the countries they came from , some of them hustle regimes , But at that time nobody from you guys even was thinking about them when they were suffering there or even say anything about their needs and rights, how they lived hungry, unsafe, poor, and many of them still there you never check if they had a dinner before they go to sleep , and millions of them still didn’t get the opportunity to find a job in dubai or any other country, when they are in Emirates they are getting medical care and health insurance for free, security, system, safe house , jobs and work, entertainment venues and that is their rights , they send money to their countries to build houses and help their families and put their children in schools , you act like you care about them !.. what a hypocrisy , fake people you just using these people and act like you care about them only to criticize Emirate, Losers , therefore just relax and of course these heroes will feel the same loyalty specially when they sees the houses they built from the money they gain and when they sees their children’s finish schools and lives with dignity

It’s not the government of course , maybe the company you work for , unless you owe somebody money or something and that person complain and opened a case so in this case of course they should do something like that to protect people’s rights .. Amazing! What a clean, elegant and modern city is DUBAI. The roads are wide, smooth and driving is free flowing. There is only one word I can describe to this incredible city. PERFECT.

@@pranayc5738 no there are not poor areas but the places where low class labours live, and generally the condition and accommodation is good. The Old Heart of the City Deira looks like a old Arab city! No matter where you go, you will be fascinated! The labour have there own markets settled up by the government. Really like this city

The whole video was superb, great footage, the skyline and the highways are so modern. I especially liked the part in the tunnel where there's an opening to view the skyline very nice nice.

I used to live in Jumeirah off of Al Wasl Rd in the 80s...it's CRAZY just how everything has changed, and it's equally awe-inspiring. Thank you for the video.
What an incredibly beautiful city. Not just the way it's designed, but it appears to be very well maintained. The infrastructure seems to be in great shape and I didn't see a single piece of litter on the ground or a single crack or pothole in the roads.

lived there for 13yrs until I finally decided to come home with my newly built family. Been 2yrs since I left the country but until now there are times that it will suddenly hit me with memories and I cant help it but cry while watching all videos and looking at pictures on my phone. So amazing! Dubai never seems to get boring, it is such a beautiful and amazing city full of life. I have been there over 14 times and I cannot get over its beauty and so much to do. Still a top travel destination.

@@aidahhh There's no King in the UAE. There's multiple Emirs and a President who represent all the Emirates and he's himself an Emir. The word Emir translates to ''a ruler'' from Arabic.
