What part does the Pineal gland play, sitting in the centre in-between the left and right hemispheres ?

Hi, you may not want to hear my opinion on the pineal gland. The pineal gland is an interesting subject. However, in my opinion, it is just physical, like the brain is physical, and it operates. I believe it is good at reading vibration or frequency, but this is only relevant to the separate self or the dual aspect. Some may say it is the third eye. In my opinion, we should not focus on mind or physical objects / Body but focus on awareness / consciousness. If you're referring to the connection between the 2 hemispheres been the pineal gland, I am not sure if there is any connection with that. I think the only connection between the two hemispheres is the corpus callosum. Which is at the base of the brain. There are studies that show that there are more inhibitors in this age that block more signals between the hemispheres than in previous ages. However, this is still just physical objects. I just wondered whether you are aware of the work of Dr Iain McGilchrist and his book The Master and His Emissary. Is your understanding of left and right brain based on his work?

@confusedseeker-ji5mi Yes, I am aware of his work. I personally think he is very good. Possibly one of the best out there. And yes, i got my knowledge of the hemispheres of him. 🙏

Since nothing is separate, neither is the left and right hemispheres. 😁☯ They appear to be separate, but they are one.

What is aperance?

Hi Jordan. When I say aperance, I mean anything that is not intrinsically real. We can say thoughts ideas the ego colour emotions likes dislikes ect. You can't wrap them in a box. But they do appear to be real. You can go deeper to say that nothing is real, just an aperance. To me, all that is real and not an aperance is anything that's un changing, ever present, infinite. Or anything that doesn't have to borrow its energy from another source. Like a plant has to borrow its energy from the ground, but the ground is ever-present. We also refer to awareness or consciousness to be intrinsically real, and the sense of I (ego) borrows its energy from that so is not intrinsically real.
