Wow!!! By far one of the best DUAL SPORT trail riding video I have seen... Hell yeah!!!
Absolutely insane. This is proper enduro trail but you did it with dualsports. I like it.
you guys are nuts doing those trails on dualsport bikes. sick video.....
Awesome work, guys! Impressive on those bikes.
Nice trail - impressive you guys were handling that on the WR and CRF-L. Bet that was a workout!
Hats off to you guys. That was a challenging trail to say the least.
I just found this channel...love it
You know it is steep when it looks steep on camera!!
I really like the looks of that trail✌️
Nice meeting up and riding with you guys!

Good to meet you, great ride. My goal is to be as fast as you one day.....probably won't happen but will be fun trying
Looks like y'all had a blast! Awesome video :D
Flipping impressive and inspiring man! Agree, that takes patience and balls to do on a 4 stroke DS vs dirt.

Or we're just dumb. My other video 'dual sports on a black diamond trail' was more difficult terrain but this ride was so slick it turned it into a serious challenge.
Best riding video Ive seen in weeks!!
What a ride! Can’t believe that the WR250R is such a trail beast!! I just bought one but not for single tracking. It’s good to know it will brap up the trails. I’m sure you have changed the sprockets. Around bend Oregon out!
What an awesome trail with water rapids thrown in 👍
looks like a lot of fun!
Great vid. I'm wore out just watching it.
Beautiful terrain
I think I said, "Holy Shit!" as much as you did. Damn, that's hardcore. Whatever phone mount you have works really fucking good!
Nice riding!
I'd be all over that on my little scooter. The 250l's are amazing little machines.

Great day man! What you did on those half worn out stock tires is pretty bloody amazing....
Pretty impressive that you guys would take your dual-sport bikes on those trails. It looked more like a lightweight 2 stroke deal. I got tired just watching the video! Good job fellas.

I was pretty tired after 4 hours of that stuff, but still a bunch of fun though. I'll definitely do it again, but with 90/10 tires next time.

If you need a 'Do everything' bike, it's tough to beat. I found myself loving more technical single track, so I got a Husky 300 2-Stroke which is light years better....but obviously you're not riding that on the road. I recently picked up an older '07 KTM 450 Dual Sport and the additional power is awesome, but there's nothing wrong with the WR, great suspension out of the box, super reliable.
That looked like fun but I'd rather be on my XTrainer for that stuff. Nice clutch work bro. 👍
@GeezerEnduro
7 жыл бұрын
XTrainer would rail through that place, very cool bike, enjoy!
That's brutal, I'm suprised the 2 strokes did it without fouling plugs like crazy.
Man those old growth forests just seem so sick to me bruh
I'm just surprised that your mirror survived. ;-)
The 250l with a 13T sprocket/42T and the right Tyre is a capable and fun bike to navigate. I manage to beat serious and fast riders as I was the photographer and had to go on the front.
:D "What are those marks on the tree for?" ... Crunch! .. Hahaha
Nice!!!!
have you put a 39 or 40 tooth sprocket on the rear? or added new tires like some have to the wr250?
I knew it was tamahai as soon as I saw the loading area right on nice vic
Marking them trees :)
After seeing the two models working so hard to climb these trails, I think I'll go for a Beta 300 Xtrainer. Great low end grunt but not great on the street.

Good choice. All I was doing was single track, so I was on the wrong bike. Just picked up a TE300, it's awesome. Still loved the WR250R though, outstanding all-round bike that can do some serious off-road stuff.

Nice hard ride, I ride trails that steep/tight in Colorado, but nowhere near as muddy! What tires are you running Kenda track masters?
@GeezerEnduro
7 жыл бұрын
Wish I was running the Track Masters. The WR in front of me has the Kenda's and while he's a better rider, those tires are clearly biting into that muck much better than the new Michelin T63's I put on. Still a good tire, much better than the stock tires I had.
Give me that 4 stroke grunt any day on trails like this ..2 strokes are fun but not for rough trial riding where you needs loads of bottom end grunt
@GeezerEnduro
7 жыл бұрын
Not sure Graham Jarvis or Jonny Walker would agree with that, but with basic riding skill-set there's no reason you can't go many of the same places as lighter 2 strokes. Not really about the bike, more the rider. Although I'd be happy to have a Husqvarna TE300, lol.
The Yami did really well threw this eh! Nice work. Talk about a slick day. Some tricky switch backs and narly bits. Were there any KTM 500 or FE 501 in this terrain. Doable for the larger cc's eh?
@GeezerEnduro

WADZ UP Mostly 2 strokes and light 4 strokes, but there were 2 older Husaberg 501's that handled all the 'A' tracks just fine. I go by them on steep climb near the end. Good riders. New versions probably a bunch lighter than our pigs, should be just fine. But its all about rider ability, the bike brand/type not that important.

Very technical terrain, great job! I would say work on your stand up riding, your body inertia is working against you... and add a camera on the rear so we can see those roster tails!!!

Was there anywhere on this course you needed a plate for? Seems like who ever set this course up thought they were setting up a Hare Scramble race, not a dual sport course. Would be fun on a woods bike, looked kinda sadistic on a heavy dual sport. No chance unless you had barely legal knobbies. Remind me to not go to one of these guys dual sport rides unless I can ride my 2 stroke.
Where was this ?
If that was a "Newbie" ride, I'd not want to see the "Oldbie" ride!!!
The Honda is more tractable & it shows it

No but Honda rider spent $thousands trying to make it better. Fuel programmer, full exhaust, $2000 Race Tech suspension. It was still slower, and the WR suspension is so good out of the box. Biggest issue with CRFL is the ground clearance is terrible. They WR is more money, but it's better in all the areas that matter, clearance, suspension, power. All I did was change rear sprocket, otherwise stock. I sold it and now ride a TE300, but I still miss the front forks of that WR, it just ate anything in it's path.

We sold them and bought 2 strokes. They're way too heavy, low power, the Honda has bad ground clearance. If I ever get another dual sport it will be a ktm 250 or 350 excf, they're worth the extra money!

i never rode dirtbikes and never been offroad. I'm curious, in what situations should you stand up?
@steveO3274
5 жыл бұрын
@@MrRhix Generally as much as you can off road. I know it seems counterintuitive but standing allows the bike to get over the terrain more easily and allows it to do all the work, while your body flexes at the natural joints but allows you to apply pressure to go in the direction you need. There are a bunch of good instructional videos by way better riders than me. Get yourself a dual sport and try this doesn't need to be expensive thing to get into.
