Nice line control. There was some real tight line options in some of those rock sections and side hills that you nailed at speed pretty well.

What was your gearing? Looks a lot slower than my 2004 ktm 450 exc, I would really struggle to keep the front wheel down in first and second gear full throttle. Im running 14-50 but I've got a full akrapovic exhaust, hi comp piston and JD jetting kit

Was there anywhere on this course you needed a plate for? Seems like who ever set this course up thought they were setting up a Hare Scramble race, not a dual sport course. Would be fun on a woods bike, looked kinda sadistic on a heavy dual sport. No chance unless you had barely legal knobbies. Remind me to not go to one of these guys dual sport rides unless I can ride my 2 stroke.

it's because KTM is much performant than the honda, but she break and she needs more maintenance. The HONDA is less performant but a lot more reliable.

Guess you've never heard of these model ktm's... These models, RFS older models are bulletproof reliable, I have a ktm 450 exc 2004 and ktm 525 exc 2006 and not had a single problem with either. I only changed top end on my 450 at 250 hours for peace of mind for hi comp piston. It's now around 500 hours and all I've done is clean air filter, oil changes and 2 valve checks...

The 250l with a 13T sprocket/42T and the right Tyre is a capable and fun bike to navigate. I manage to beat serious and fast riders as I was the photographer and had to go on the front.

Kinda miss the old girl! Trying to beat my PB which I managed, could only get within 7 seconds on the new bike. Don't think it's anywhere near KOM. Just realized this was probably late August not October

I could kick my own ass for getting the ec300 went to get a rr race and it sold on the 2h ride to the closest beta dealer to me and regret sooo bad not just ordering one and waiting but I. Herd so much good about these bikes and it’s reliable but nothing like I was expecting 😢

Guess you've never heard of these model ktm's... These models, RFS older models are bulletproof reliable, I have a ktm 450 exc 2004 and ktm 525 exc 2006 and not had a single problem with either.
