Did they brought the Yotaphone back from the dead because im very surprised they decided to make this and brought it into market.

Yeah those two steel plates in the box are pretty unnecessary, but they only come with the special edition

I wonder is there a newer alternative to this phone?

I'm not sure what you mean but this is Cookie cutter modern 2020 plus smartphone build quality. It in no way looks like a phone that is a decade old
