I have the same iMac but it pulls up a blinking underscore, have you gotten this issue or no?

Superb video young man. Didn’t realise it was so straightforward, I’m off to buy a 2010 Macbook Pro! A quick Google found how to create a 3rd partition formatted to FAT32 where you can store all your files to be used by either MacOS or Windows. Thanks again 👍🏻

You're the only one that's managed to get my old Macbook on Windows 10 successfully after a week of stress, frustration and many other failed tutorials and guides, thank you. This is even better than your new video, i kept havng issues doing it the new way, but this way was perfect.

Awesome. I searched around apple support forums for a while for this, and I think this is finally a nice up-to-date easy tutorial. My iMac is from 2009 with the same specs, Yosemite and I recently started experiencing Bootcamp not booting anymore into windows 7. The partition had been there for 3 years but I decided to take all my important stuff off and try to reinstall. I would love to run windows 10 in Mac without having to buy a whole new computer! Nice Job, you helped me make use of an old 2011 macbook. ,. PS I skipped the step installing windows 7 by inserting a win 10 DVD in the CD drive .. it read that first afater loading the bootloader. .. you should be very proud of your video

I have a late 2011 mackbook 13 inch and I don't have the Windows 10 DVD, I read in another message here that you still can skip the step of Windows 7, Is that true without the disk? T

On my MacBook Pro mid 2010 the steps were available up until I got to making a copy of the boot camp assistant than, for me none of your other steps came up on mine.

Thank you for this lovely tutorial, perhaps the best one in the market - I do have a question though, at step 4 it keeps asking me to insert windows disc first which I don't have as its not recognising the usb bootable drive as a windows install disk - the usb is also named as install - any idea?

Hi. Im running a MBP 2009. I recently install a secondary Hdd via a caddy. I have managed to create the bootable USB. When I select the install Windows option, it gives me option to formart drive for bootcamp, it restarts the system and hangs on the Mac logo after the chime sound. Any help??

So im having an issue with the bootsetup after it days it need to be on window 7 and the second option doesnt pop up to install with settings how do i get that to pop up

One of my friends has Windows 10 on his 2008 Macbook Core 2 Duo, but I never got around to getting the function keys working, do you think you know how to get the function keys working, I got everything else working, the audio ports, practically almost every driver except for the function keys including right click

if your 8 gb flash drive was formatted then when you insert the 8gb flash drive in windows it shows the bootcamp support software

Hello Im Trying to install win7 on a 2007 iMac7,1 after modifying the plist . (deleting the Pre-word especially) .....Boot Camp Does not open at all it crashes at start up everytime. after i remove all edits it starts up fine... I installed windows 10 direct on my second ssd and didn't connect to wifi. Stopped permanently windows update and did what you did with the bootcamp setup and it works but no drivers for power, brightness or trackpad but finally stable enough for now

Hello, on the Win10 1903 version, bootcamp will not work, the pc gives direct a blue screen. Reproducible. I only need it for the keyboard and mouse pad. The keyboard will not use the F1-F12 function keys (only with Fn) By the mouse pad, the right mouse click won't work. The Win10 1903 version works good with the Mac-book pro late 2011. Only not the mouse pad and the keyboard. Is there a solution for it, please let me hear. I love the video. Greeting from the Netherlands.
