I run the "OG" build- butterfly, infiltrator, vapours and marked for death, which works great for me. This build is great for capture point battles, if you do infiltrator and blend in with surrounding buildings or so, you can pick of low health heroes who are healing in the back. I Play this sneaky build as a"hero finisher", i only attack if they are medium-under 50% health, light armour- (any health) or if they are heavy- under 20%. Next up, I think you could of mentioned the horse dismout ability, a great escape/ finish off skill. Some other escape skills are simply jumping off a wall, the fall dmg in this game is absurdly low. PS: with this build you just gotta know, that if you use infiltrator you are not completley invisible, so you always gotta walk next to a wall or so. But otherwise great vid!

Animation lock of skylark is good because you can't be stunned in animation, I see they also increased animation speed just now.

Aha!. As LS I usually try to bait DB`s to focus on me to keep them busy (also using the "heal and get immune to poison" Rune just for that trait). Then I "met" you in a Siege and it felt you easily killed me twice with that 24/7 CC&DPS. Now I know why :)

lately i've been a mad man and go shurikens, butterfly, skylark and marked for death. A TOTAL DAMAGE MURDER MACHINE. really gotta pay attention to positioning and overall situational awareness but the damage potential is insane! :) Sklyark from behind is redoink

You can see them at the blacksmith if you select light, medium or heavy armour and scroll down to the bottom

Honestly, I can't get skylark to work, every time I use it against an enemy they simply skill recover/dodge roll, animation cancel and use their cc so I then need to vapor out or I will get dived by 4 other enemies that spider sensed me getting cc'd from the other side of the map. Edit. Case in point 8:15, if I was the db, the moment I used skylark the short sword would have shied bashed me on the ground, shield throwed me to slow and the pike would have finished the job with their ult stab, to my personal experience playing as db, that's not why skylark is good but why that short sword is bad

Hey Plum any recommendations for my first season units to unlock? Ive just been leveling mace and spear sarge because I head its good

Mace Sargents are great defo worth leveling, next thing to get is Imperial spear guard. Halberd Sargents good too

What do you guys think about Skylark-ThunderBolt-Vapours-Butterfly? I've been running it with epic schem and it works nicely for me (as said in the vid full epic gives cooldown refresh on kills) and with that I can pretty much keep fighting non-stop until I loose all my hp :p

@@Plumsion It is, but only when it comes to pinning heroes and securing kills (It is harder to get stacks but idc). But because you have both butterfly and skylark, DPS is amazing. DB is no longer a burst damage focus, but it can deal continous damage. It is so good you can actually kill a full toughness LS with it

what sort of stats should we be looking for on a good db? slashing and slashing pen?

I would start with the safe build of your new to DB. Shirking - Vapors - butterfly - mark for death. Just because butterfly is easyer to land and most of the time does more damage

What about strength toughness etc where should I place my atribuye points

@@guillermin1234 I got for 60% strength and the rest in agility, because the heavy armor meta you going to want a bit more slashing pen

​@@Dard329well, with the supporting evidence you've provided us I can't fault your compelling argument. Or maybe his weapons rolled good damage but bad pen and yours is the opposite. Perhaps there are several variables to consider?
