Dua is a GODDESS! ✨ She’s my favourite artist - there is consistency to her creativity, each song makes me feel happy and gets me dancing. I live in the UK and she rules the pop/dance scene here. I’m not certain why Americans seem to be missing the point with her? I’m excited for Radical Optimism… I can tell that it’s going to be the soundtrack to my summer.

As an American, I can say this is how Americans have always been. They literally slept on Kylie (the obvious reference for this video) for the entire duration of her career.

As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, I find music to be one of the best ways to just get away from it all and just vibe. Due lipa is just such an inspiring artist and I just love her voice and her style of music, she definitely gives off an 80s vibe in my opinion. Great video ❤

I really like what you were talking about at the end in regards to nervous system synchronicity through music. I've always loved that singing in a choir synchronizes the heart rates of the singers as their breathing falls in line with the composition, all simultaneously calming their nerves in the same way as the common musical task aligns their brain waves together. I read Power vs Force because of your video excerpting from it and generally agree with the presentation of consciousness given there and with your viewpoints on the hard problem as expressed in your recent video about consciousness, and I really love to think about the interplay between the material physicality needed for a human body to conceive of, produce, share, express, perform, listen to, appreciate, nervously process, and cognitively analyze music and the conscious human observation of what all that is immaterially like and how it makes one feel. We're all just separated onlookers who are convinced that we must all be totally differentiated and distinct from one another because we can all individually say "I have my body and my experience and my memories and my personality and my lifetime and that's all the one that I observed as such alone, so it must be mine," but when we find ways to convince the elements in our body that the conscious experience they're facilitating (such as musical performance or appreciation) is a communal experience shared by other points of conscious observation all facilitating the same with the other material elements of their other bodies, that knowledge provides some soothing effect to the bodies and brains and minds and souls of each individual involved. All working with a mutually specified and understood coordination that each individual consciousness is free to be separately aware of in conjunction with each other individual's separate awareness of the same, which all are permitted to perceive and comprehend as their own personal flavoring of a hypostatic perceptual unity. I love how deeply and doggedly music and the other arts will never stop trying to remind us that we enjoy being together more than apart, as long as we can keep it seeming true to ourselves that we are certainly in some way a real and existing thing that gets to be and remain really and truly a part of the togetherness.

I am super excited for this album! 3 singles and I love all 3. I have been following Dua since debut, and she's amazing!!! You can also see how much work she's been putting into her craft. Her voice and dance moves have improved so much since the debut! She is certainly big across the globe, but I feel she deserves even more recognition from critis and awarding bodies! Roll on 3rd May

Such a great high-energy song and YES to everything you said! Two things that fit well: The Sagrada Familia (cathedral in the background) is a church that is built to give one the illusion that it's organic and that the pillars and ceilings are plants and foliage while in reality it's all concrete. And of course the illusion of flight achieved by the shots of divers soaring against the blue sky backdrop.

Thank you for sharing the symbolism behind Sagrada Familia and the divers! That's fascinating. It definitely adds another layer of depth to the video. I love learning about these intricate details. 😊

I love the music reactions. Yes, raves are still a thing. Can you do a video on Addison's Disease and the complications of that disease please. I also would like to know how six spinal fractures (Bilateral L4-L5, T11-T12 with a new severe spinal cord compression of the C 4,5,6,7) By the Grace of God, I'm still walking. This new cervical compression is now at the halfway point and if surgery is not done soon, I'm afraid it will go from incomplete to complete spinal fracture. It's affecting my right hand and the 2nd and 3rd flanges. I know it's time to give in to surgery to fuse my cervical spine and I'm trying to understand how this affects my Addison's Disease. Thank you greatly. I respect your opinion.

Hello, and thank you for your comments and for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing with Addison's Disease and your spinal issues. Spinal surgery is a significant decision, especially with the complexities you've described. Given your history of Addison's disease, it's important to consult with an endocrinologist prior to the surgery. Given their inability to secrete adequate cortisol during stressful events, people with Addison's disease may require additional medications, such as steroids, to help the body cope with the stress of major surgery. Also, it will be important to consult with a neurosurgeon for evaluating exactly what kind of surgery will be necessary. Not all surgeons have the same level of skill and experience, and performance between surgeons can vary significantly (even within the same hospital!). Therefore, it's important to do your research prior to choosing a neurosurgeon - check the number of procedures performed, ratings and reviews, and complication rates (really important!!). You can delve into these details by checking out the following websites: projects.propublica.org/surgeons SurgeonRatings.org has also been a helpful website but it looks like right now they are updating the site, so it is not currently accessible. Hope this helps..Wishing you strength and a smooth recovery ahead!!

You're not wrong. Not even just music, anything super social creates different brain waves and promotes oxytocin and serotonin. Even prayer. God doesn't even need to exist for a bunch of people to group together and pray and it will have a positive outcome. (I'm not religious, but it's true) Edit : The fact that you caught La Sagrada Familia makes me automatically have a crush on you haha a girl who knows geography and culture is MUUUAH! In my book.
