Grant Group of Fraser Michigan uses an AIDA DSF-N2-2000 200 ton servo press to overcome their production challenges.
"We were having trouble producing these parts on our mechanical presses because of cracking", says Robert Grant, President, Grant Group.
"We've been experimenting with the direct drive servoformer by slowing the stroke near bottom dead center to produce parts from 304L, a T-300 series stainless steel austenitic, which has has a minimum of 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel."
