So excited for this comparison, am listening on R2000DB but there is still a significant difference between the actual sounds i am getting from the source vs. recorded r2000db. I think this has to be from the room reflections and microphone profile. Source sounded clean, crisp highs and tight lows, while the recorded r2000db is a bit on the boomy side and mixed mids and highs. Safe to say actual speakers will definitely sound much better vs. sound demos 😁. But this is helpful when comparing one speaker versus another.

Sound signature is very close, props to the R1380DB, for nearfield should be more than enought right?

What EQ did you use for this test?

2000 sounds a little 'wet', the 1380 a bit more dry. I think both will be very pleasant to listen to for a longer period of time. Edifier wins.

Probably mic, but consider this as a comparisson more than an audio sample for the speaker, should get its point across, but I would like it to be accurate too.
