I really love Peugeot and Citroën and this goes all the way back to the 505 and CX models (which my dad had). Personally, I have had everything from 205, 106, 306, 405, 406, C5 (mrk.I), C4 Cactus (mrk.I) and C4 Picasso (mrk.II). By the way, I like the design direction especially Peugeot has today. Citroën is a bit of a mixed bag and I do not quite understand why the new car brand DS is everything Citroën used to be (innovative, sexy and futuristic), while Citroën is left with a bit strange models (though not bad models). Today, there is definitely more substance in the Peugeot brand than in Citroën. DS seems a bit too made up and the models are too expensive compared to the competition (at least here in Denmark).

Great comparison idea Thomas. Stylised interiors - makes a nice change? But don't like dark gloomy interiors! Usual excellent Thomas driving commentary and PHEV philosophy. Of the two I'd go for the more comfy DS7. But think in this case I'd prefer a 3008/Tiguan PHEV sized car. Many thanks Autogefuhl Team.

I have been driving DS7 now for over a year. I selected this car for its superior interior headspace as well as good space for all passengers. With 3 in the family over 190 cm it is really hard to find a car where you can fit both legs and head in the backseat. DS7 is a good step up for french cars, but still a bit from other european premium brands. Digital technology in the car is not up to speed 2020.

You're right the Peugeot wasn't made for over 130km/h since that's what the limit is in France, unlike the German auto Bahn that permits users to race as high as they wants on most zones. That's why the German Midrange and super cars are quieter and more balanced. No doubt the French are really doing great right now compare to say in the 90s and even up to 2017...The 2020 Renault Megame RS is a golf killer.

SUV are just more practical. And finally the PSA group is offering a 4x4. It should be heavily discounted to be considered for purchase. If you are not a fan of the brand then over 50k for any of those models is a lot even if the DS7 delivers on power and styling. Just like you comment on the good and the bad for cars, just wanted to leave you some feedback that the editing could have been a bit better in this comparison type video. When Thomas changed lanes at high speed with the DS7 the 508 took off. So how is the high speed lane change in the DS7?

How does the energy save work? Lets say I have chosen save energy for 20 km and then I get to the point where I need the energy - do I need to activate the energy that I saved or how does the car know that now it should let the driver use the remaining 20 km? I hope you understand what I mean..! Thank you for a great review! Kr Thomas from Denmark

@@ClaireYunFarronXIII I suspect that despite the French cars are various and varying, they have always a common factor that Blark Dexture seems to dislike: they all are French. Nothing more. If there is any problem here there it's for Blark, who can't appreciate good cars if they have that factor.
