Isnt a tube a better option? The slime makes a mess if you plan on changing the tire some day and it rusts steel with long exposure.

Starch for stiffening clothes: 1cup rear. 1/2 front. Office rubber bands: Regarding keeping rubber fresh: Rubber bands become brittle with age due not so much because of oxidation but rather due to evaporation of volatiles in the rubber/plastic material. These volatiles are parts of the plastic/rubber material that keep them soft and flexible, and the loss of them cause them to become stiff and break. Keeping rubber bands in unopened or otherwise airtight packaging and then storing the package in cool locations will prevent aging/brittleness. Rubber in general: In professional literature and also in practice the rubbers are named besides commercial names also with abbreviations (in accordance with ASTM-D 1418-76 or ISO-R 1629). Basis for the abbreviation creating is the rubber chemical composition. The abbreviation consists of a number of capital letters. The last letter of appropriate abbreviation characterizes typical atom or group that is present in the rubber macromolecule: M - rubbers with saturated hydrocarbon chain of methylene type N - rubbers containing nitrogen in polymer chain O - rubbers containing oxygen in polymer chain Q - rubbers containing oxygen and silicium in polymer chain R - rubbers with unsaturated hydrocarbon polymer chain (diene) T - rubbers containing sulfur in polymer chain U - rubbers containing carbon, oxygen and nitrogen in polymer chain Z - rubbers containing phosphor a nitrogen in polymer chain

In a pinch I’ve used both fix-a-flat and slime. I’ve had much better results with slime than fix a flat. A good old rope plug works best in my opinion. I’ve filled some pretty big holes in tires in the middle of the woods with rope plugs.

I like the Tireject and/or TruckerCo Tire Cream. Easier to deal with later like if restoring the rim. Slime seems like a mess.

Would you recommend this on Jeep tires. Minimal off roading. 95% city and Highway driving.
