    Thanks for doing this video. I have similar hair texture and wondered if this worked on this type of hair. All the other videos ive seen of it have been on perfect straight hair.

    Your hair is so beautiful, I loved it before you used the Drybar blow dryer brush. That is the right look for you everyday. Your hair looked beautiful after using the tool, as well. That hairdo looks great for stepping out.

    @@SabrinaKerr I used to have the same curly tight thick hair similar to yours but I think the bleached completely changed my hair texture permanently so I am not sure if it's hormones or the bleach that has changed it because it has been 4 years now and still not same so I have no idea what's happened to it haha 🤦‍♀️❣

    @@laviniaturner5311 bleach changed mine too! My hair has changed so much. When I was little it was straight/wavy and as I got older it got curly. I remember when I got my hair bleached and my hair was so damaged and my curls weren’t the same. I haven’t bleach my hair in years, so my curls are starting to be more defined. I’ve seen on tik tok people giving tutorials on how to get your curls back to being healthy!

    I just bought the single shot dryer. Hoping it will last! Never tried the Revlon one or any other brush dryer. Do you think the drybar brush dryers will stand the test of time? I've heard some other people say the Amika and Revlon dryers stopped turning on after a few months use. I hope I didn't waste any money on Drybar! I really want to try this method of all-in-one hair styling. I've had an expensive T3 hairdryer for years and it's the best but for the life of me i don't know how to style my hair with a separate round brush + dryer! I hope this is easier 😅

    I did a lot of research before purchasing a blow dryer brush because I was looking for a good quality one. All the reviews that I have personally seen all talk very highly about it. The reviews on the website all say it’s the best. So I think it will last! That’s the reason why I didn’t buy the Revlon one because I heard so many stories of it breaking after just a few months. I think it’s okay to buy that one if you’re on a budget, but I think the DryBar was worth it! I’ve had it since December and it still works great!☺️ I agree with using a blow dryer and a round brush😂 it just takes practice!

    Every hair dryer damages your hair, but it's less damage with this hair brush dryer than with a flat iron becauae the heat is not directly on your hair. Plus you can use a hair protector before using any heat hair brush/dryer

  • @SabrinaKerr

    @SabrinaKerr

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes, I agree with the comment above. I do not recommend using this everyday since applying any heat to your hair can be damaging if you’re not cautious. If you use this once or twice a week, you’ll be fine as long as you use a good heat protect for your hair. Then you’ll be good!

    I just saw one of the KZreadr saying that we shouldn’t use it on dry hair and only when it’s wet😭. This is really confusing

  • @SabrinaKerr

    @SabrinaKerr

    10 ай бұрын

    Everyone has different views on it. The reason I only use it on dry hair or when my hair is 80% dry is because the heat on these tools are so intense and since it’s shaped like a brush you’re putting it directly onto your hair rather than when you use a normal blow dryer and hair brush. So it causes more damage if your hair is wet since you have to go over it way more times. So far it hasn’t damaged my hair. But it’s totally up to you! Even on drybars website it says if you have thick hair, to rough dry your hair before using this. I have seen hair stylist talk about these tools and that they’re actually meant for styling not blow drying your hair so a styling tool shouldn’t be used on wet hair if that makes sense. So far it hasn’t damaged my hair the way I do it!

  • @SabrinaKerr

    That’s fine if that works for you! I’ve seen hair stylist talk about how it can be damaging to your hair since wet hair is more fragile than dry hair. Not many people know that it can damage your hair so I just wanted to give those a heads up since it’s not recommended to use on wet hair. It just depends on the person.

    @@SabrinaKerr the revlon will damage your hair if you use it wet! the drybar is actually designed to use on wet hair without breakage.
