Here, we dry bake a yeast bread using a Pocket Rocket 2 and the Ocelot 6 Windscreen. With a low flame level for dry baking, a windscreen is even more critical to use. BTW, the bread was delicious.

Pro tip for ya, grab some pot cleaning steel wool. The heavy stuff. Pull off just enough of one to spread into a disk. Place the steel wool in the Evernew and place the aluminium baking dish on top of the steel wool. This will dissipate the heat and keep the bottom of your muffin, cake, or whatever from burning. Been doing it for years and it works great for almost no weight gain. (Think mine is like .2 Oz) Also, give it a try, if you like it feel free to pass it on in your videos.

You use the steel wool instead of a baking plate? Which stove do you use?

No steel wool. The pan sits directly onto the pot. I am using a Pocket Rocket Deluxe.

@@wanttogo1958 yeah, no baking plate. A evernew pot then the steel wool, then place my small aluminium baking pot on top of the steel wool. Close the lid of the evernew And your good to go. I use a wind master pro, but any stove would work.

Split it half and toasted it for part on my dinner. That being said, fresh bread is 100 times better when I am backpacking!

Approximately how many grams/ounces of fuel do you use for baking? Where did you get the baking pan? It’s aluminum?

    About 9-10 g of fuel. It’s a Fat Daddios 5” pan
