DRV FACTORY TOUR! // DRV Toy Hauler // Full Time RV Living

#drvfullhouse #drvmobilesuites #fulltimervliving
As most of you know we decided to purchase a new DRV MX450 toy hauler. Kyle Adams from DRV showed us around the factory and explained the process of how the DRV 5th wheels are made.

This video convinced me that I want a DRV instead of a Vanleigh Beacon. We went to the Vanleigh plant in Mississippi in Feb ‘20 on our way to Biltmore in NC and decided that’s what we wanted to full time in but this really has me wanting to go to Rolling Retreats in OK! I’ve already been on the RR website. I’ve watched the other DRV tours on KZread. I have a chance to purchase a DRV 36 RSS3B from a friend, but I’m rethinking the floor plan.

Great video. My wife and I are spending a lot of time looking at trailers. At this point it amazing how much junk is on the market. I expect our next move will be to a used DRV. The only real issue with the DRV coaches is the weight. So now were looking a replacing the truck as well as a trailer.... OUCH. We want to go to a HDT but here in Ontario Canada.... Insurance is a big issue. So far I have not been able to find a company to insure it. I can buy one and register it in the USA. But when I return to Ontario the law says I need to plate it here even though I can't get insurance here. Also getting full time trailer insurance does not fit in the mold of normal so the price goes through the roof here. Welcome to Canada eh !

Just my suggestion when and if you guys buy another RV buy one with a residential Fridge. The gas/Eletric fridges are junk. It's the EcoBoost that they use in the walls. It's thicker than the stud thickness and gets sandwiched between the two sides as well as glued between the studs. We've never heard of anyone having issues with the wall insulation sliding.

Are all their coaches RVIA rated?

No they're not Chip. Apparently RVIA won't allow a sticker if it's more than....hmmm - the size escapes me right now. But there is a maximum square footage that RVIA will sticker and if the coach is more than that they won't allow it on any manufacturer.

But even though our larger units can not have the RVIA sticker, we still follow RVIA rules (except square footage)

At the 21: mark end, Why won’t you pan over to what he’s showing on the side of the RV? You keep the camera glued on him speaking and not at what he’s pointing out?

Sorry Scott. We THOUGHT we had deleted them for all new videos but apparently not. It's a new thing with KZread and we have to physically go in and make the changes. Hopefully we've got it set now. Thanks for coming along and be blessed.

Why is his nose sticking out of that face mask? No sense in even wearing it if he isn’t going to wear it correctly.
