Pridgen is one of those drummers who just seems like he has infinite energy. He goes all out all the time, and it's exhausting to just watch sometimes.

I’ve always enjoyed your comments but, NOT stopping to make any on this clip displayed your true professional talent for understanding groove and “Letting it rip!”. I mean really, if you had stopped it at any point, all the magic would have simply evaporated into the nano sphere. -Because that’s the level that entire ensemble was at, brother. Of all the Zildjian Lives we’ve watched, has any been more literally off the charts and out of the musical atmosphere than this one? There wasn’t a single person in that room that wasn’t ecstatically crazed with pure enjoyment. And, there was almost as much talent in the audience as was in the ensemble. Simply put, MAGIC!! I love your commentary and channel.

This guy plays drums like Thelonious Monk plays the piano! Staccato stops and bee-bopp styled chops. Just Sick! Fabulously complex sequences on the toms

Thank you Andrew!! My all time favorite of the Live series. I’ve never seen so many musicians blow away at one time. Thomas is next level and his single kick work on the Mars Volta is ridiculous. Hooray!!! We got our Andrew back!!!

"Wax Simulacra" is one of the most insane tracks I've ever heard in my life

I saw this guy play with Mars Volta back in the day.... unbelievable player. Unbelievable. This riffs in this song sound so much like Mars Volta, too. Gives Thomas lots of space to work his magic. Welcome back, Andrew.

I love the Zildjian Live/VF Jams series - The Ghost Note collective at their finest. Would love to see a reaction video of the VF Jams session with Lenny "The Ox" Reece - another brain melting performance.

The bass player is Mononeon, who is not only an amazing musician, he also makes hilarious mashups where he sets various videos to music. If you want to laugh, and I mean laugh hard, look up any of the videos he's done with Cardi B. It's the only way I can stand her, watching him make fun of her. LOL

I don't think, in total, any drummer expends more energy per minute of playing than Pridgen. Dude goes on all cylinders. Loud, hard and relentless.

This is unbelievable drumming but I just want to shout out The Faceless Planetary Duality Drum Cam on KZread. Amazing drumming and even better musicality? Just wondering what others thought. And again, not trying to detract from Thomas Pridgen. Amazing.
