Stan was such a huge help to me several years ago continuing into today. I started weight loss at 206lbs over 35 percent body fat and not healthy. I originally started with a keto approach which helped me drop the 60 pounds very effectively. Then I started following Stan and brought carbs back in and added the red meat, and my body completely changed from skinny fat to more lean and hard. Also, if you were like me and had headaches after training, definitely adding the salt was a game changer for my headaches and overall performance during my bodybuilding training. Salt salt salt!! I even add it to my Gatorade with EAAS during the workout (Milos made this popular, then Stan and John Meadows continued suggesting it) and it’s been great for those who work hard in the gym. I cannot thank Stan enough. He is always honest and shoots you straight. Thanks for having him on this week!

Stan Efferding is one of the first fitness personalities I started watching in 2016 when I first got into lifting. His video on sodium (Creaitne Sucks But This Works) was my introduction to the importance of sodium for lifting performance and overall health as well. Also thought The Kooler was a good idea even just as a general purpose cooler design, but nowadays trying to find an original model online is impossible even on his site (mostly want one for nostalgia sake; don't want the 2.0 model)

Love Stan! I think when it comes to the diet trends, it shows something we don’t talk about much. People are becoming so distrustful of the institutions (medical, big food/pharma) that maybe people are being driven to these fringe diets because they need help they are not getting. Maybe leaky gut issues/mental health issues, etc.

Oral appliance (mandibular advancement device) for sleep apnea can be used as first line therapy for mild and moderate (AHI 5-29) obstructive sleep apnea patients. As long as you are recapturing your normal bite with a morning aligner each day your risk of bite changes are greatly reduced.

I think one slight issue is that normal people try to replicate what pros do and expect the same results! While it’s good to find inspiration and look for tips, you should find what’s best for yourself based on goals and experience!

When Stan referred to one of the quadricep muscles as a brachioradialis I think perhaps he misspoke the brachioradialis is in the forearm and it flexes the elbow with a hand in neutral like a hammer grip. Maybe he meant rectus femoris
