I started doing drugs 20 years ago as a teenage. Got addicted to cocaine. Spent my whole life fighting cocaine addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

I would like to know from those who have solved PTSD and anxiety, if they have solved it definitively and how to understand what quantity of psilocybin to take and when, for how long. And can you really heal without having an addiction? Thanks to everyone for helping me understand, I want to understand if it's something that can help me solve the problem (I have c-ptsd)

From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later,

As someone who knows their genetically predisposed to addiction, I still didn't think it was serious. I started doing a bump with friends every now and then, forward to now I'm doing it alone in my room. It's strange knowing you're falling into addiction, I'm aware that it's happening but have no will to change. This is the first time I've said anything like this, please understand I'm not seeking attention, moreover I just needed to let someone know. Thanks.

If you’ve got an addictive personality, quit now. Some people can try anything and enjoy the experience for what it is without needing to come back to it. Personally, I’m not one of those people. I used to only (insert your favorite euphemism for using) once every few months. I also used to turn down beers on the weekdays when offered. I knew my mom was a recovering alcoholic and used to “smell funny stuff” as she explained it to me for the first time when I was 16. I tried to be cautious knowing I probably had the same gene causing me to be more prone to addiction. Well as (a lack of) luck would have it, I’m now hooked on both. The worst decision is buying some for yourself. If someone offers at a party, be courteous and offer a 5 or 10 bill depending on the size, and then leave empty handed. The devil lies within having it all to yourself. My first bag lasted me over a month. Then I’d only do it on weekends, then it became a balance of doing it daily and quitting before I needed sleep for work, then I was up all night and sneaking bumps at work when nobody would see. Every time I bought a bag it was when I was drunk. Alcohol is the ultimate uninhibitor, and resulted in my purchase of coke and subsequent abuse. I was fortunate to never overdose (the combo of the two is the most common reason for overdose in America, though it might have been overtaken recently by opiates in recent year, I’m not positive) Either way if I could stop myself from trying it for the first time 100% I would. It’s not as glamorous or romantic as Hollywood makes it out to be, and it doesn’t feel as good as how expensive it is. The first hour or two is great and then you chase that feeling desperately until you either run out of powder or run out of money. I started using 2 years ago and have since become a self aware addict. Like I said earlier some people have no problems doing it occasionally in social settings, while others begin that slow downhill battle of thinking they’re in control of their use until that downhill becomes a sheer drop and they find they’re no longer in control. I won’t say that it’s a death sentence for everyone who tries it, however I will say that it’s not worth the gamble of finding out if you are or aren’t.

My dad was a coke addict for many years. It got him a half of a bad heart, permanent sleeplessness and in the end once the pacemaker could not suffice, a heart attack and death. My dad smoked marijuana and not filtered cigarettes heavily as well but the cocaine took the biggest toll on his health. It's definitely not worth it and ironically I have tried it a few times myself. Luckily I don't have an addictive personality.

It is not very easy to spot a cocaine addict as the effects don't last super long and if they have a tolerance they aren't actually getting high. Someone having a bipolar or other mental episode can also appear like they are on cocaine. Typically a user will develop strangely cold eyes after some period of prolonged use. Thankfully, it is easier to permanently quit than opiates or benzos. It is a euphoric stimulant. Users often don't notice that they are high. They tend to talk a lot and sometimes grind their teeth and try to stretch their jaw muscle to relieve the tension. The comedown is accompanied with crippling depression. If they smoke cigarettes, they will tend to smoke unbelievably heavily while under the influence. Not good times.

Im not sure "cope" even applies to a comment where someone gets into nuance. There wasn't some statement of acceptance or denial, just straight facts. If you don't want to listen to experience, you will have to play with the fire. I do not at all recommend that.

Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. I remember several years ago I suffered from uncontrollable depression, anxiety, smoking, and illicit pill addiction until I was recommended psilocybin treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly, imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade, and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. I believe in a couple of years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health-related issues.

This doesnt ONLY apply to cocaine addicts. This is true for ALL addictions. Many cocaine addicts will go to the bathroom or say BE RIGHT BACK about 100 times a day. When they return minutes later they will undoubtedly be revved up and bluntly talkative. And many sloppy cocaine addicts or cocaine addicts who are SO EXTREMELY caught up and FAR into their addiction usually dont care anymore, will have cocaine powder in the corner of their nose. Also, their jaws will be swinging back and forth, they will grind their teeth, their eyes will be as wide as an owls especially when taking their first blast of the day. And of course they wont be able to stay still. Now thes descriptions are for a cocaine addict who has lost total control. There are leisure cocaine users who take a blast a few and far between. They will not show these signs.

@@Jackalleyway You're welcome. Funny story... Some years ago I worked for a high end modern furniture company on the display floor as a salesman, super long hours (9am to 10pm - made damn good money though) and a few months into working there I had started getting back into working out/proper diet. On my day off (only 1 day off a week) I began a cleanse; to be 7 days of eliminating sugary foods/drinks, cutting out all fluids except water, introduced vitamins etc... Regarding drinking only water, when I cleanse I make it a point to drink 1 bottle of water (the bottle size im referring to is the single poland spring bottles you buy as a 24 or 32 case) within every hour from waking up, and stopping around 3 hours before bed. The first few days you will literally have to pee every 10 minutes and it comes on strong as if you've been holding it in for hours. By the 3rd day your urine will be clear as the water itself, hence, cleansing your kidneys etc. So, when I got to work the next day I continued my water cleanse, and the owner was there for the day. I literally went to the bathroom what seemed like every 15 minutes, and since I was just peeing I was in and out quickly. Well, he took notice of me going in and out of the bathroom but I guess failed to notice all the water I was drinking because he called me over into his office and shut the door, looked me sraight in the eyes and asked me if I was snorting cocaine... It took me by surprise hahaha I showed him and explained to him what I was doing, but I dont think he believed me. So I just stopped my cleanse during work hours. Hahaha ridiculous.

I was addicted to cocaine for over a year and I learned many things. First of all the reason cocaine is so addictive when you're depressed it's because it makes you feel so arrogant and powerful. I would spend two to $3,000 a month on cocaine just to feel good about myself. But last December I met my now fiance and the time I spend with her I feel way better than the drug had ever made me feel. so what people addicted to cocaine need to do is find someone or something in their life that makes them feel as good or better than the drug did for them. I'm sure I've done damage to my body but I can still function normally in society and everyone is shocked when I tell them that I suffered a cocaine addiction unlike other drugs like crystal meth and heroin which leave permanent disfigurations

Easily responsive is a dead giveaway. Or un normally expressive either verbal or physical. Younger cocain users don’t usually look at you in the eyes as a conversation goes. The best sign is lack of appetite and sudden drop in body weight or irregular sweating during physical movements (like working a physical job or simple chores). Best time to spot a cocain user is when they coming down from the drug. The absolute best way to spot it, is to notice how quickly they respond to stimulus or deeply they show paranoia. Just stay away from them unless your getting high with them. Don’t ever mess anyone’s high up. 😊

Theres a big difference in this. You have “dry sniffers” who can sniff without having a drink(alcohol) and they will usually do it any day of the week. They are probably the worst. Then you have the social/clubbing/partying ones who only sniff when they have a drink and stay up drinking an sniffing friday to sunday. Like binge users basically. Where i live id say 7/10 people when they go out drinking the weekend will have cocaińa aswel An addict id say is somebody using it everyday or like 3-5 times a week. Fuck that shit. When they start being able to eat normal and sniff aswell thats when they are really fucked on it
