Drishty (sp?)....I never knew the name for this - I chose focal points during each one of my labors and delivery, as I was going through the contractions. I needed to do that period it kept me more centered and balanced through the pains.

Oh wow I love that. Yes a drishti is a point of focus it can be external or internal like your breath or focusing on a feeling within etc. love the birth idea. I focused on my mooing lol 🐮🐄
