Yes, Takoradi held the title as the 3rd largest city for a long time. However, current records/statistics have shown that Takoradi has been overtaken by Tamale for the 3rd largest city position. Therefore, Tamale is currently the 3rd largest city in Ghana, and Takoradi is 4th in the ranking. You can do your own research to confirm. Thanks.

No it has not Tamale Is bigger than Takoradi but when u combine sekondi and tTakoradi it is bigger than Tamale

That's fair enough. The central and local government have to step up their game to upgrade existing infrastructure, improve their maintenance culture whilst the residents have to learn to be more discipline and care for their environment if they want Takoradi to become a world class city.
