Nice to get an occasional glimpse of your dog that we can hear panting in the audio 🐶
It's a beautiful place! I would love to visit here one day, hello from Madrid, Spain
Hola 😃 You're always welcome to Australia. There are many awesome places to be discovered and enjoyed by wanderers like ourselves. I was in Madrid in 2015 and had an amazing experience. Can't wait to revisit.
@@kwamethewanderer thank you my friend 👍
Very enjoyable ❤
That warms my heart and looks forward to bringing you more amazing content.
I’m surprised to see you’re not doing a commentary Kwame 😊 I always like hearing your experiences
Hi Jackie, Thanks for the feedback. I have noticed that the ambience can be relaxing, soothing and enhances the reality of the experience. That's why I decided to create some non commentary contents lately to share with audience looking for virtual escape with natural sounds of the area. However, I would try to find a balance between videos with commentary and ambient.
This place is were i live. Australia. 😮😮😮😮😮

Fourteen former French colonies in Africa pay a “colonial tax” amounting to about $500 billion yearly These countries are Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Benin, Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire Togo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon. This process allows France to appropriate about 85% of the former colonies' annual income.
❤❤❤❤❤ Great city of Tamale
There it is! Good stuff thanks!
Fantastic. Happy to have shown you your good old town, Palmwoods 😁

That's nice. Africa is for Africans both on the continent and abroad. I'm sure that Ghana will receive you well and you'll have a great experience when you're able to visit one day 👍🏿🌞🇬🇭
Thats awesome to hear. Definitely is on my wishlist maybe in a couple years when everything in life settles down 👌🏾
Well done, detailed coverage of Burkina fasso.
Thanks
Corruption is the major problem in Africa
I support you 💯%. Once that bad habit is eliminated or at least minimised, Africa will be the greatest!
What a great place to holiday at.
It's absolutely beautiful and peaceful 🌞💙🇦🇺
@@kwamethewanderer Haven't been there for over 15 years and loved Maroochy and the beaches. Maybe its time for another visit soon. Thanks for sharing the video.

I was born and raised in Tamale. Now I live in New York, and haven’t been in Tamale for over 7 years. It looks very very different. My heart is and always will be there. I miss home.
That's so lovely, and thanks for sharing your story. I'm glad my video revived the connection with your roots and showcased some of the new developments in Tamale to you. I hope to bring you more in the near future.
Horrible, horrible noise/music Kwame
Thanks for expressing your opinion with regard to the background music of the video. Sorry, it's not your preferred genre. You can always watch with the sound muted.
Good work
I was expecting to see the retched, overloaded trucks that more often feature as representative of African cartage. This was a refreshing representation of modern freight, although tying down those tarps with all that rope must be tedious. Thanks for your effort in enlightening me again.
It's great to hear you enjoyed this video. Much appreciation.
This is a great video Kwame, I always wonder if the trucks in Africa have truck stops or rest area. This is another investment idea for me. Safe travel Kwame and nuff respect. Keep the videos flowing.
Truck stops are very lucrative businesses in both Burkina Faso and Ghana, aside from the bureaucracy of acquiring the licenses and the land title. But there is always a way out if you are determined and have sufficient capital.
@@kwamethewanderer I truly appreciate you. This is a very educational video that I can and ill be using for investors sake. Hope to meet you when I get there.
This is special!!! Thank you
Thanks for another video. Safe travels. Nuff respect Kwame
Good road Smooth ride by my Country 🇳🇬 standard Well done, thank you
Always good to see a video from you Kwame..Keep up the good work.
Appreciate it. Thanks.
@@kwamethewanderer Nuff respect, you living the best life..cant wait to get to Africa
There is no immigration and Boda control between Ghana and Burkina Faso?
There are immigration and customs on the border of both nations but being considered a security zone, I couldn't capture a footage of what goes on there. Secondly both Burkina Faso and Ghana were members of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), a regional political and economic union of 15 West African countries which aims to facilitate the movement of their citizens and goods within the member states. As an ECOWAS citizen, travelling between the 2 countries was quite easy.
How often is there power outrage in Ouagadougou?
I'm not aware of the current situation. However, power outrage wasn't rampant during my time there, and it didn't take an outrageous time for the electricity to be restored when it goes off. But I found the cost of electricity to be quite expensive in Burkina Faso as compared to neighbouring Ghana.
@@kwamethewanderer China will help with their advanced solar, wind and battery technology soon.
is there electricity or tap water in Ouagadougou?
Yes, electricity and portable water are widespread in Ouagadougou. Ouagadougou is a city proper, just like any other city you will find across the world with all the luxuries alongside its challenges, eg, poverty. So it all depends on the standard of living of the individual and the neighbourhood they can afford to reside.
Lots of electricity and water cuts in Ouagadougou
that you very much keep it up
Capital city ? Hmmm Is developing gradually tho
Ouaga 2000 is one of the districts with Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. Though it's the wealthiest residential area, it's just a snippet of what are to be seen in the Burkinabé capital.
Well with those volunteers exploiting resources! France forcing them pay colonial benefits, this is where they are for Now!
For Uranium alone France was paying them 0.80 Euros And now buying it from Canada and Other counties paying 200 Euros !

That's fabulous feedback. Stay tuned for more interesting content, and thanks for enjoying my vlogs.
They don't call themselves "Frafra". The actually find the word "frafra" to be insulting. The are Sisala, Dagonba, etc. You are Ghanaian. Educate yourself and do it right. Ghanaians live together in peace ONLY because of respect for one another's traditions
Dude, it seems you don't know what you're saying and you're making fuss about this. The Frafra are a subset of the Gurunsi people living in the Upper East Region and southern Burkina Faso. Though the coining of the term "Frafra" may have a derogatory origin, it was later accepted and normalised, therefore, that's how Frafra people call or identify themselves in modern times. The Sisaala's are also a subset of the larger Gurunsi ethnic group and reside in the Upper West Region of Ghana while Frafra hometowns are in the Upper East Region of Ghana. The Dagomba's may have some similarities with both the Frafra and Sisaala people, but they are an independent ethnic group as well, with their own culture, history, language, and roots, respectively. The Dagomba homelands can be found mainly in the northern region of Ghana and to some extent in the northern part of Togo. Tamale is the principal city of the Dagombas as Bolgatanga is to Frafras. Anyway, I'm a Ghanaian as you mentioned, of mixed ethnicity; a proud member of well established Frafra families. I will be very happy if you can tell me the common name that Frafra people identify themselves within the Gurunsi ethnic groups. Educate me if you can.
Very knowledgeable response, which is evidence of your cultural roots. Thanks for educating us, Kwame.
I really appreciate that you want to defend northerners even though you're clearly not from the north. I get you especially because of his name but I think their tribe also name their children like that because they are largely christians.
Very nice, it reminds me of the north of Nigeria culture a little.
Yeah, we share cultural similarities and common ancestry.
Great Content Brother, You put so much of work in this video, I like Your Shots,
