    Hi friends! Glad you went to that special place that I can imagine how many good memories might have brought you! Those flowers are kind of quirky, that's funny.The fried rice looked so delicious!!! I didn't now that that kind of landscape is called Hill Country. Good thing to know! They are indeed so proud of themselves!!! But it is really tru that its such a huge state that the landscape changes so dramatically! And all that wildlife, OMG! So beautiful to see! So cool that Thomas was wearing and kind of featuring what was about to come with the t-shirt logo of the Camp! 😎 It looks like you guys had such a special time in there!!!! The drone sequences are so beautifully shot and edited with all the cool speed ramping and very cool transitions!And the views of course!!! Loved it! Awesome job! Funny Bloopers and the ones of the flag count were hilarious!!!!!!! Beautiful video, you're always so enjoyable and fun to watch!!!! Have a wonderful Weekend! Happy travels and adventures! 🤗😎 Elvi

    Aw Elvi, your comments are always so sweet 😊 It is a MASSIVE state. I think we forget about it until we actually get down there, but there is just so much to see. They have ocean views, mountains, and deserts... they are very proud of themselves down there but it's so beautiful, I guess they have good reason to be 😆😆

    Honestly, this comment really brightened our day. We really have no idea who our viewers are and only get to interact with a few of them every so often. We first started this channel as a way to record some of our date ideas and experiences so we could look back on them in the future. And since our first subscribers were mainly just close friends and family, we never expected that anyone else would be interested in our vlogs. But we have been so blessed by the support of our audience and are really encouraged that people outside of our family are enjoying following along with our journey. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lloyd!! Thank you for sharing your comment 😊😊

    😊😊 It was such a formative time for us at camp that we felt like we needed to share a little bit about why it was important. Being out in nature and going to places so remote feels like a retreat to us. It’s weird, but we love traveling and nature so much that we kind of hope that our channel can also be a (very small) retreat for whoever watches. 😊 Thank you guys so much for your support 😁

    Hahaha a more Texas-style fare would have probably been more appropriate, but the Thai restaurant just meant more to us when we were there 😆 But we've got an Austin,TX food tour video coming out soon that will hopefully showcase Texas foods a little more specifically! It was a much more meaningful trip for us than I think either of us expected. We obviously had a lot of fun while we were there and it's a really beautiful and remote area, but I think we forgot just how much of an impact living and working there meant to us as people. We grew a lot and it was in many ways a homecoming 😊

    YES you guys should definitely go to Texas sometime! It’s such a unique state with so much to offer - you could probably spend a year just driving around TX and trying to see all that it has to offer haha .. and it really was such a sweet time. We remembered having a lot of fun there, but we didn’t realize just how much it meant to us until we started driving back and all the memories came flooding back. We did a lot of awesome things like kayaking and backpacking trips, rock climbing and zip-lining - but the way we grew and learned was just foundational to making us who we are today. 😊😊

    "If that isn't Texas..." Only thing missing is an oil refinery. Fake flowers. Real memories!! You mention shrubs and first thing in the brain, from Monty Python: "A SHRUBBBBERY!" Killer overhead shots! Beautiful ruggedness. Anthony's godmother worked at a VERY similar camp outside Dallas where Christ is the center! But a HIKE from where you were. 22 flags? Yeah, someone has Texas pride.

I don't think any state has even half the amount of state flags as Texas has hahaha

  • @RuthandThomas

    @RuthandThomas

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@MillieMoments We probably should have one of us get out to fly it, but we usually just both stay in the car. It's pretty difficult keeping an eye on it and trying to get it to stay in a straight line. I think that's been our biggest struggle with the drone thus far, it looks like it's lined up straight and it feels centered, but then as you start to fly it - it drifts off course and flies at a diagonal. So we end up having to correct our course mid-flight 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏻‍♀️We were flying it alongside the car at high speeds a few months ago and it started to drift off-course and then it crashed into a tree... 😬 🥴
