Don’t hate on the tiptronic it comes with the better motor. All Turbo 997s will appreciate, a true classic.

Amazing cars, 3.22 sec, you say 3.0 litre flat six, you might want to correct that to 3.6.

I bought one last year and absolutely love it. ‘07 turbo Tiptronic 35K miles. Had a 996 turbo stick previously. The 997 is a classic

It’s a 3.6 Turbo not a 3.0ltr also I would not drive it with Sport on always as you said.. sport for the engine but for the suspension on the streets is too hard so to the suspension PASM off or to the softer setting which is light off.

Yep that's a 3.6 l engine ..the 997.2 came 3.8 with power upgrade but a wet sump dfi engine

997.1 in manual is a future classic! (or 997.2 in manual or pdk).

@@skoobs9081 991.1 was pdk. don't think it'll go down as a classic tbh. the .1 still didn't have the best steering feel with the new electronic system and no manual in the turbo. they still really didn't fix the steering in the .2 model (I had a 991.2 gts) and wasn't really improved until the 992.

@@jerrysaddiction7636 I really don't think so. the 997 tip gonna go the way of the 996 overall... the turbo tips would be a good (and cheap) way to chase crazy hp numbers tho. the tips can handle a bit more power than the 6 speed and early pdks.

997.1 turbo tip coupe price has already gone up significantly since 2023. As car enthusiasts of that generation ages, foot and shoulder may not work as well, many already switch to automatic gear box. This is the last generation of tiptronic gearbox. Cabriolet soft top just doesn’t have that smooth line as 997 coupe, therefore doesn’t age well. 997.1 turbo tip will be 2nd of the 4 turbo variants to keep as classic.
