Ecto-1/Ecto-1A is like the third most iconic car of the 80s. I think only Knight Rider's KITT and Back to the Future's DeLorean time machine rank higher and not by much for either. All three are awesome in their own ways.

Glad Canadian wrote and acted in it.

Came back from the nostalgia I understand that’s this conversion is inaccurate since it’s made by a different coach building, but it still is a 59 Commercial Chassis, which are still hard to find, let alone in the UK. Speaking of, the proper lights are probably also so much more difficult to find Rest Well Derek Acorah *1950 - 2020*

Its not the real Ecto 1. The real ecto 1 is sitting at the LA. Police Museum. Plus, look at these lights at top. The two Clear ones are wrong. They are supposed to be blue.

Ghostbusters car is cool for halloween

I've seen better film-accurate replicas of the Ecto-1. Plus, the blue hoses on the left side of the Ecto-1 look better than the red hoses.

Not completely off-topic but somewhat: The building used for the interior of the firehouse in Ghostbusters is now abandoned. :( Although every time I hear that song, the Ecto-1's siren now just goes off in my head.

I'm pretty sure they ment, when was this episode shown on tv - since Ghostbusters is now 31, approaching 32 years oldbut Johnny said it was approaching its' 25th anniversary, this episode must have first been shown about late 2008/early 2009 :) .

It's missing the mars lights and the front blue lights are so wrong...

Wish this REPLICA was kitted out properly, i hate it when people use the wrong items for this iconic car. And on top of all that Dodgy Derek sitting in an ECTO 1, wonder if he got any VIBES from Ghosts saying GET OUT ;).

Only 25/400 of the Miller Meteor ambulances survive for 1959, this is why purists get upset & so many other coach built ambulances like the Superior are used as Ecto 1. Only the eagle eyed can tell the difference. Some MM ambulances do need to be preserved in the original livery as emergency vehicles.

Lighting equipment is all wrong and missing some things too
