    Lovely footage. And a nice deviation from trucking. Farming is a great way of life. I grew up around dairy. Went to Ag college. And finished up in construction. Worse job. Usually more money. The first combines I went on as a kid in the 60s. The header was so small you could drive it down the street with the header still on. Now look at them.

    The big difference with operating machinery like that and trucks is you are dealing with width not length. The front on that header was over 40’ wide and he was going quickly. There is a lot to keep an eye on both in front and in the machine itself. Your head will spin. He was making it look easy just as Johnno does in his truck. Put a green horn on a header and it will cost big bucks in no time if they have no experience and are not very careful. That crop was good going, get into a heavy crop that has gone down in rocky country or has had a flood over it and it is a bit different. Jeff

  • @terrenceodgers5866

    @terrenceodgers5866

    I speak from experience - re - cockpit access at 11,000 metres. The curvature is unmistakable out of the flat front windows of Boeing 747. As for rail lines - the horizon is only as far as the height one is elevated at. Even looking out at Echo Point near Katoomba on a clear day, will reflect the Earth's curvature, to those who can be honest with themselves. Are you referring to guidance instruments? All guidance instruments are set to true north and align themselves from that setting so aircraft and shipping will always be guided toward their destination without fail.

    Yes and no. I always try to add as much awesome content in my videos as possible. Unfortunately there are things I kept getting in trouble for and showing this content was some of it. Now only those people with a very keen interest will see this stuff and won't complain to my boss. Everybody is so worried about being sued for doing something wrong in the workplace. It's also a way of people showing their appreciation in supporting the channel. As you can imagine, a lot goes in to making and editing these videos.

    No it's one channel but there is an option to JOIN. In this members area I can show all the footage I can't in the public section like the job sites and mine sites. I put out a video everyday, albeit short, it shows what I really get up to each day.
