Driving around Cape Town - V&A Waterfront to Camps Bay

This is just a short ride from the V&A Waterfront to Camps Bay. Just to give you a short glance at Cape Town's citybowl.
Around 0:45 you'll see to the right the New Somerset Hospital (rear entrance), following the road towards the "Helen Suzman Boulevard" (M6).
At 1:14 one can find some parts of a motorway which ends all of a sudden. It's quite favored for film-shoots like "Safe House" ( • Safe House: Car Chase ... ) or advertisement-clips and so on.
Turning right to the "Buitengracht Street" you'll find yourself just between the inner city (to the left) and the "Cape Quarter/Waterkant Village" and later on the Bo-Kaap-district (to the right), which is famous for its colorful houses.
At 2:19 the "Buitengracht Street" merges into "New Church Street". Btw.: to the right at 2:24 you'll see a quite backpacking lodge which is called "The Backpack" when I remember it right.
At 2:28 the "New Church Street" becomes the "Kloof Nek Road" - an inevitable sign that we are beginning to climb onto Table Mountain. ;)
At 2:52 you'll find 4 examples of the typical cape-dutch architecture.
On top of "Kloof Nek Road" (3:35) one can choose between going to Table Mountain Cable Car (to the left, "Tafelberg Rd"), on top of Signal Hill (sharp right, "Signal Hill Road"), down to Camps Bay/Clifton (right, "Kloof Rd") or you can follow the road straight on down to Camps Bay ("Camps Bay Drive").
Enjoy the view once you are driving there! And stop speeding, especially when it's rainy, 'cause then "Kloof Nek Rd" and "Camps Bay Drv" are getting quite slippery.
I really, really want to thank musician and rapper Gerard and his management and label for allowing me to use the instrumental version of his track "Atme die Stadt" in this video.

This clip is meant to be an afterglow for all my family, friends and fellows who I met at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa 2011/12 and - hemhem - again in 2013. ;)
And it gives you an idea of what traffic and weather was like end of January 2013... ;)
