Flying and driving all over the world!
Hi there, this little channel was initially meant to be an addition to a blog which I have written some time ago whilst working as a final year student intern at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
I never ever expected so many views but it kept me adding more and more clips... ;)
So, there will be more!
In 2015 Brazil and South Africa will be visited and I'll keep flying with friends in Germany, so there is a "high risk" of new videos and short clips.
Hope you'll enjoy it!

What's the name of this road?
Its name is "Chapman's Peak Dr" maps.app.goo.gl/GotkcQR4adgHmgVT6
We stopped at sunset and my husband asked me to marry him overlooking False Bay. Never forget it!
Beautiful road to drive breath taking scenery..loved my drive from Simons town to camps bay in November drove it a dozen times ❤❤
As this tour illustrates, there is so much beauty here and throughout Africa; the cultures and people.
Certainly a scenic route - and not a very wide road, at speed!
Set the playback to 0.5x and view Chapman Peak at a normal realistic driving speed.
Gorgeous footage. May I use about 30-40 seconds of the scenic footage **with credit** for a video interview I am doing? I am interviewing an musician that came from Hout Bay and he's describing growing up there, and driving through Chapman's Peak, and this footage would be perfect to go along with what he was saying. If not, no issues. But I'd give credit both in the video, and in the description.
Hi @zshadowofadoubt! Thanks for the compliments and for asking to use some footage. I really appreciate that! Sure, you can use some scenes. If it helps you, I can send you some original scenes (not all of them, because they are way too big) - just dm me if you like. Wish I could visit South Africa soon again...
That driver infront of you doesn't know the width of their vehicle And can't regulate the distance of where they are from their car to the curb 2:40
It's been a long time for long drive. Amazing place
There’s no rails hell no
video really done well!
1:40 unsurprisingly looks very much like Hwy 1 along the coast of California
How fast were you going. Very Scarry....l would . not go on this road
Hi Barbara! I was driving really slow and cautious due to the gravel road, potholes, sometimes non-existent guardrail and - first of all- due to the fantastic view. The time-lapsed video-editing makes it look rather hectic and fast... I really recommend visiting that area and once you are there taking some time to drive that pass. It's really nice and has fantastic views. Cheers!
Beautiful
You can hate south Africa, but you will like nature here.all things bright and beautiful.
Love South Africa 🇿🇦 From Argentina 🇦🇷
Wow beauty city I'm familiar in Joburg but I wish could go to Cape town 🥰

I’ve been there and it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Just driving along the coast makes you feel like you are in paradise. Love you Cape Town, hopefully I can return one day with the one that I love lol.
BEAUTIFULL PLACE . QUE HERMOSO LUGAR . CONGRATULATIONS FELICIDADES HY FROM MEXICO
Wow...just amaxed at the scenery man. God is good indeed
If you really want to enjoy Chapmans in all its raw glory, cycle up and back from either side. It is truly spectacular. I have done it on many occasions, and it is a special treat every time. Cars are very bike aware on that stretch so it is safe. Riding on a weekend is even more fun due to the sheer volume of cyclists sharing that stretch. There is always such a jovial mood around that part of the peninsula when out cycling. People are friendly and courteous and no one has any stress when riding. Life's issues are forgotten for a brief moment allowing people to just be.
Wow ...beautiful Mzansi 4 Shoo my next holiday destiny.
Amazing city
Is this by dash cam?
Hi, TheClassofAl! Nope, it was shot with a GoPro Hero3 mounted on top of the car's roof with the suction cup.

hi.. here is my driving video in Malaysia >> kzread.info/dash/bejne/iot6usOodKrbeZM.html
Great video. I worked in South Africa in the early 80s and visited Cape Town in December 1983. I drove along Chapman's Peak road and thought it was stunning. I remember having a picnic in one of the lay-bys.
This is perfectly choreographed. Job well done!
My wife absolutely hates heights. Going over even a bus size flyover she nearly passes out. I was in Fish Hoek a few weeks ago on holiday. We were following the GPS into Cape Town and it took us this route. My wife and her two sister all had to lie on the floor of the car. I wasnt popular that day BUT it is the most spectacular ten minute drive I have ever had. I so desperately wanted to pull over to one of the scenic view stops but they wouldnt let me the bastards!!!!
Fear of heights is terrible! Believe me they hate themselves too. I suffer same, everytime I climb up to Signal hill I start to feel extremely lightheaded and have this overwhelming feeling of loosing control, like I’ll pass out any second. I force myself most time because I love the place but it’s almost not worth it
Adoro este lugar
The air there looks very fresh?
Baie dankie!
I really want to marry south african girl to resit cap town

Things that made me move to Cape town: 1. People 2. Scenery 3. Food 4. Nature 5. Weather
I love it, and it is my dream to move there.
By people you probably mean white people
The people were also one of my reasons for moving here, all races, unlike the rest of the country different races actually get along here.
@@zanderlabuschagne2368 what about security?
@@baccobille I hear about gang violence often on the news, I have not witnessed anything first hand yet, I guess it depends on where exactly you live. Someone once told me that in Cape Town you can gou from the nicest neighbourhoods to the most dangerous places in less than 5 minutes, it's probably exaggerated but there are some bad neighbourhoods quite close to safe neighbourhoods. I have seen many suburbs or areas that requires you to drive through a gate and/or that are monitored by CCTV cameras which seems safe. There are areas that you should avoid during night and keep your car doors locked but compared to Gauteng it's not really that bad, just watch your mirrors and keep your eyes open. I feel safe where I live, it's quiet, environment is full of nature, you can walk outside on the street and feel safe. Many neighbourhoods are like this but not all. Never go hike alone, that seems to be a popular place for muggings. By not alone I mean at least 2 men, I have heard of a few couples or people who went hiking alone that got robbed or injured or killed. Emergency services and neighbourhood watches are also very active and responsive.
I do this drive atleast 3 times a week with my wife! Nothing beats it. The drive back from llandudno to camps bay is beautiful too.
Yes that would be my most precious dream
Quite true
I can't drive in these road guys.
Underrated video... Love it. thanks for ur work.
I don't wish to be there. Though it good to drive at that apex
It's scary
This video is so beautiful...can't wait to witness this beauty with my own eyes!!
