Its actually pretty bad if you consider he shot it on the 8K RED weapon. He makes the dynamic range of the camera look like a video camera to the point that it actually looks like a cheap dslr.

Ford Mustang - the most pointless and least practical car the world has ever seen. yea it looks alright on the outside but that's about it. Interior is crowded and horrible, revs like a bitch and eats petrol the same way to produce a lot of noise and not a lot of point. Base model of that atrocity in the UK accelerates 0-62 in 5.8 seconds, which is slower than the base model 3 and costs exactly the same (actually more if we include EV incentive of £4500). So get a Mustang, which is slower and is way more expensive to drive, for the same money as Model 3. Meh?

Neither of us said anything about Mustangs being inherently better, but we're still allowed an opinion. Personally I'd much rather have another mustang because I love the looks, love the sound, and love working on cars. The Tesla does none of those things for me, so I'd never pick one over a Mustang if I was buying new.

Aleksandr Vysockij It's not about the Mustang. I know it's nothing more than a loud horsepower mammoth. It's about this whole electric car thing in general. They say it's eco friendly but at the end of the day, the raw materials and the production process itself end up "consuming nature" (as they call it. I'm not one of those nature lover retards). The only good to the environment they do is not polluting the air in non-industrial areas. But all that for what? A vehicle with no real thrill to drive. Sit back and relax? Where's the fun in that? Where's the roar? Where's the satisfaction you get when you change the gear properly? Unless ofc if you're some 12 y.o nerd who loves futuristic things. And yes. Electric vehicles are faster than gas driven. There are technical reasons behind it. No shift delays, less weight and as such. But all that aside, it takes the soul of driving out of it.

That "soul" often said to be lacking in EVs is highly subjective. It's exactly the lack of mechanisms-the spools, the turbos-that excite me about the car. Like the thing's been streamlined to peak efficiency-its powertrain stripped of non-essentials. Like a lithe ambush predator. Like thunder-less lightning. And the point of the EV revolution is not to avoid consumption completely and absolutely. That would be impossible and in strict violation with the universe. But to lessen it significantly. The point is not to stop polluting at all. But to lower environmental impact over the lifetime of the vehicle. Start small somewhere and build up over time. The satisfaction to be found here is in uninterrupted, unadulterated, disquieting acceleration. That and a lower maintenance bill due to fewer moving parts. (Though your mileage may vary on that last bit.)

Thank you for making this. The RED is awesome!

Lovely review of this Tesla. I know all pros and cons. But can't help it loving it. Great design and its quit.

Parallel parking in a space for an 18-wheeler... Please Marques, if you try this next time, could you do it in the smallest space possible for those of us who live in dense cities?

What do you mean? Plenty of people made cars before Ford, he just figured out how to mass produce them for cheap, making them available to more people.

I love this channel. It ages like fine wine. You can tell that as you add more people to your production process the videos are getting significantly better in quality and are just generally great to watch. Love it

Elijah It reminds me of the hybrid and EV reviews on the Fully Charged Show. Marcus is the younger American version of Robert Llewellyn. The unstabilized shots are a bit distracting though, a gimbal is a must for making good hand-held shots.

Great clip. My wife and I are reservation holders way down under in New Zealand. Probs still looking at two years. We plan to just go with the base cost, black with 18's and fabric trim with the smaller battery. Still think it'll be a great car for us. Keep up the good clips.

And I would recommend getting the premium package. The auto pilot it's great but you can add it in the future if you want. But the premium package it's just amazing for 5k. It just give you too much for that amount of money. And you live in New Zealand so, you will love the heat sit lol. good luck
