Great video, but a little bit of click bait going on here. This has nothing to do with the Porsche classic other than looks. It appears to have an ls motor with newer Porsche trans. Not even “Close” to what a real 917 would drive like. It’s a Porsche kit car .

He did put “reborn” in the title so there was a warning. It’s not like the title was “barnfind, time capsule, all original survivor, vintage Le Mans finisher Porsche 917”.

Great Video. I just found your channel after buying my dream car after waiting 18 years. Got a 2019 sti and I have been learning more about it and mods to add to it from your channel. Also added the Idoing headunit after watching your video. Great content and hopefully I will see you on the road someday if I pass through Arizona.

I'm sure there was a lever to move the wall behind the seats back in original as drivers were changed over in le mans 24 There was also away to raise the body of frame and there was a single seat in centre with dials in centre making More room above the drivers head great car great video

Great replica. 917’s always a tight fit for driver. Scary to drive. Need to modify so you can fit. Won’t be comfortable, but they never were. Problem is finding shop that can find that extra 4” you need. It’s doable.

Dude. It’s got an LS engine in it. One of the most dependable motors in the world. A far cry from an air-cooled flat 12. A great replica but a far cry from what Zuffenhausen produced in its original design.
