Driving A LeMans Race Car To Dinner!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Whilst in Kansas, I got the amazing opportunity to jump behind the wheel of a Porsche 917 recreation by Kraftwerk... one of the most comprehensive replicas you can buy of the iconic 1970s race car. Even better, I get to drive it on the downtown streets of Wichita to dinner!

@@DrkStmpunkr It's funny how people get acrimonious about abortion being a sin while Christian conservatives--especially rich and powerful Christian conservatives--live lives packed to the brim with sin and completely against the teachings of the New Testament. Lives full of boastfulness, pride, greed, and disdain for the misfortunate--those who Jesus cared for the most. Ignore the sins that are inconvenient to your worldview, demonize the ones that aren't, it's the conservative way. Ignore your own sins and criticize those who are downtrodden by society. Forgetting everything you said about the sanctity of life the moment the child is born also seems to be the convenient route I see a lot of the time. In case you've forgotten, the Pharisees were criticized heavily by Jesus for the same behavior you see glamorized by conservative Christians everywhere, and the church has yet again become a place of profit, just waiting for its tables to be overturned by an angry God. Practice what you preach.

Great car and cool owner. Just one correction: the early cars with engine cover and rounded rear shape were unstable and unloved by drivers but once Porsche introduced the 'cut off' tail like this car has the 917 was reckoned to be a good handling car.
Epic as ever Sam, i love you're choice of music everytime and the way you set the mood in your videos. The only channel where i never mis a upload
That is really incredible; the owner of this very car (and all the others seen in the previous video) deserves a monument for his passion and generosity to share all this with others. Chapeau ! Thank you very much indeed. 👍

I was lucky enough to see these cars driven in anger many times at Le Mans and around Europe. Sports car racing the likes which will never be equalled again.

After his trip to Chernobyl, Hoovie was never quite the same
Imagine going 400 km/h in that. One of my favourites, after the GT40.
Sam the content you gave us over the lasts years (and DTW especially) is just on another level. More like a properly edited TV Show than ‚just‘ a KZreadr‘s videos like you get from others. Can‘t get the fact you haven‘t got 700k followers at least! Just keep doing what you are doing. There is a sence in every video that you love what you do. Not just video after video for the money. 👌🏻
Unique video. I've not seen any in car pov videos of a 917 driven on the road. So awesome to see the extremely low drivers view. To see the car driving on city roads and stopped at the lights is much rarer than seeing any other exotic.
If it weren’t for the British accent I would say “Hi Steve McQueen, going balls out at the 24 Hours of Le Mans”?
