The interesting thing about narrow gauge, is how the cameras position makes it look like the trains right side wheels are running on the left side rail. That certainly is one hell of an impressive balancing act.😏

1988, ANtasrail days, Conara Junction , (coal line juction to St Marys) waiting for the up and down trains to cross, Hobart- East Tamar Junction, freezing nights, one in the morning and a fireplace smoldering burning Fingal black coal. The thick layer fog / smog and coal smoke, thick oily diesel exhaust from worn / flogged out ZC and ZB locos and no breeze overhanging the station and yard.
