LYRICS - Through the storms that drown your world There you stood against it all I said “someone should save that girl” All stood by to watch you fall Fight my way back through the crowds Just to see you all alone I took a breath and I dove down Came back with a love like I have never known (Chorus) And you let me believe I saved your life When all along it was you that saved mine I gave you the keys to my life And you showed me the world on the driver side When all the lights went out You were there to guide me through When the world came crashing down I held onto you (Chorus) You let me believe I saved your life When all along it was you that saved mine I gave you the keys to my life And you showed me the world through the drivers side As I was lost you found directions In despair you would find a smile Now all I see is your reflection This worlds not fair you’re still only a child (Chorus) And you let me believe I saved your life When in the end it was you saved mine Man was drunk and he ran that light The car hit us on the driver side No Ill never forget that night Drank to much and you said you’d drive All I remember are flashing lights And the car hit us on the driver side (Chorus) And you let me believe I saved your life When in the end it was you that saved mine Man was drunk and he ran that light The car hit us on the driver side Should’ve been me that died that night But you took my place on the driver side That’s the night you saved my life When the car hit us on the driver side

And you let me believe I saved your life, When all along it was you that saved my mine, I gave you the keys to my life, And you showd me the world from the driver side. When all the lights went out, You were there to guide me through, When the world came crashing down, I held on to you. you let me believe I saved your life, When all along it was you that saved my mine, I gave you the keys to my life, And you showd me the world from the driver side. As I was lost you found direction, In despair you would find a smile, Now all I see is your reflection, This worlds not fair you're still only a child. And you let me believe I saved your life, When in the end it was you that saved mine, The man was drunk when he ran that light, and the car his us on the driver's side. No I'll never forget that night, I drank too much and you said you'd drive, All I remember are flashing lights, and the car hit us on the driver's side. And you let me believe I saved your life, When in the end it was you that saved mine, The man was drunk and he ran that light, and the car hit us on the driver's side, Should've been me that died that night, But you took my place on the driver's side, That's the night you saved my life, When the car hit us on the driver's side, Driver's side.

Hey this is Derek Archer's second wife. He showed me all of your music and even dedicated one of your songs to me. Your music is amazing.
Through the storms that drown your world, There you stood against it all, I said someone should save that girl, All stood by to watch you fall, Fight my way back throug the crowds. Just to see you all alone, I took a breath and I dove down Came back with a love like I've never known.

Hey I covered this song for my talent show in school (hope Tyler don't mind after all I wasn't paid for it, I was a last minute addition so I thought of this song because I love it) and everyone loved it. I'm in an all boy school and this song made most boys cry. I was given a big applause at the end, however I did state that it isn't my song and that its Tyler's and he takes full credability for it. Thanks for a fantastic song Tyler. Good luck with everything Luke

i have nothing but good things to say about his songs. for those of us who actually understand the meaning and emotions behind the stories, it has a very deep impact.
I wish I could see this live!!! This is such a good song!!!!
Dang this song was really touching and makes you think a lot about life and just the small things!!!
Hope life takes it easy on you, brother.
Hey Tyler Thank you for everything your doing for us and thank You for posting the video's, be safe and God Bless! Your awesome
I love this song!! Seriously, not only a great song but an awesome message..
The end of this song gave me chills. Nice job Tyler I wish I had half of the musical talent that you do!
This song makes me tear up - Tyler Jay you are amazing! I thought you had covered this song but to my amazement after googling trying find the lyrics and was unsuccessful I realized you wrote it. You are very talented - if you are ever in West Chester, Pennsyvania - play at a local bar - I would most certainly come see you.
5 people must have been hit in the heart with a rusty nail to click dislike. Its not like he is dissing the Corps. Having been in the Marines he is makin light of a situation (being deployed) and turning a life changing experience into a positive one. Its kinda like tellin an ugly girl she is pretty, You do it for the sake of the situation. Grow the F up
Been a few years. Back on your videos again. Thanks man.
dude, you're the man, all the songs, all you do, amasing talent
Your abilities to express pain and emotion through lyric and chord are astonishing. If it wouldn't have been for the guitar I would have never made it through the loss of four KIA's which still hit me every night just like it was yesterday. I used my Martin guitar to write songs home to the mothers and wives of our KIA's. I would like to talk to you personally about rates for flying to Virginia and playing for a small group. Thanks and my hat goes off to you for all you have endured.
Listen too a bunch of your songs.... Love them all!
man this song makes me reflect so much on my life in the corps and where were going... shit.... the world came crashing down and i held on to my boyz!! thanks tyler!! lost and found somewhere i found a smile!!
What a difference from all your other songs, you have are an awesome musician!
very very good song!!! from Argentina god bless you man!!
