It is so odd recalling that I watched this six or seven years ago and I still feel the same about it. And the reactions of the guy sitting next to Satterfield are still hilarious.

He did put it on an album. I remember a bunch of guys on the MEU were passing out burned CDs of it. Shame they didn't buy it, but back then, there wasn't really a way to pay for it to download. At least not that I ever saw.

Yeah he was the company gunny for 1/1 Weapons company around 2013-2015. Really big fucking dude and scary as fuck. Loud as hell too, you could hear his inside voice from across the 1/1 grinder in horno lol.

Sgt. Maj. Sixta from Generation Kill is what I think of. Ironically Sixta was charged with Sodomy/Rape of a child in Arizona and sentenced to like 10 years. He also had or has pending charges in California. No early release of any kind. Think they bumped him to PV2 as well.

This isn't the invasion, I was there with 2/8 Marines during the invasion. We slept on the ground every night, I didn't shower for 57 days. I made 1 phone call home via Kerry Sanders MSNBC sattalite phone. thank you so much Mr. Sanders and MSNBC, even tho you guys are Obama lovers. MSNBC did us well over there. We didn't get mail for almost 3 months. There are bases now, internet hubs, phone centers, Baskin Robbins, KFC and the whole lot. We make our bases as close to home as possible. USA #1!

@offroadgod1 Picking up rank dude, which means more pay. The 51 mos has been closed out for years now. Alot of the guys that I came in with were still lances when we got out. 52 is tow gunner and you could be a sergeant in like 3 years with that mos dude.

The military isn't like any other job, you can quit other jobs. That said, it's a good experience and I think everybody could benefit from joining any branch of the service.

@pdsmith11803 Sure didn't, I was one and done. I EAS'd in Jun 2005, I was slated for an 04 deployment but I was done a HUGE favor by my 1st Sgt who sent me to the rifle range to be a block because I was newly married and had a newborn. 1st Sgt Bertrand wherever you are, once again, thank you.
