Looking forward to this, this was my one of my favorite games for PS1. :)
The look of the cities always reminded me of Die Hard Trilogy, part 3. Everything looked so dynamic back then! Fortunately, there are fewer pedestrians around. Fantastic and holistic work here!

I think the only part of that Trilogy that I managed to finish was the lightgun section. Would always run out of time in the driving section! Thank you, made sure that nothing is omitted here.

I'm gonna have to fully learn how to edit so I can do that rewind effect. That's awesome. It reminds me of the late 90s early 2000s when I used to watch movies on vcr

Video editors tend to have "CRT filter" effects, that's how I did it in the older walkthroughs. Apply the filter, reverse the footage, speed it up, apply sound effects on final result. In more recent ones I used VHS artifacts footage which gets blended on top together with the main footage. Along with some chromatic aberration.

@@tylerj.calhoun255 For older videos like Survivor or RE2 I used Magix Vegas Movie Studio, which is a cheaper version of Vegas. For newer videos I use DaVinci Resolve, free version. Yeah, it's actually free. If you search for "resolve vhs effect" you should be able to find an article that shows it step by step with provided free assets.

Yeah, it's hard to make chases look exciting, since in this game just touching a car causes damage. It's possible to finish all ram type missions at around 10 seconds or less.

That mode is ridiculous. I think it's a good thing that the sequel allows invincibility during it.

Kinda. The composer did some touch ups of the soundtrack, though it's still largely based on the original. The "remasters" are tracked by Content ID and often have false positive match.
Out of Tape? What does that mean?

Both of the PS1 games have a "Film Director", a replay system. It can hold about 20 minutes of gameplay before it runs out of memory and when it does, it shows that message. It means the replay will cut off at that point.
