Driver San Francisco| The Missing Ending Cutscene and Why the Ending Bugs Me
Ойындар
This "cut" cutscene makes so much more sense, no wonder I was annoyed with the ending for years. Enjoy! WIth thanks to @fenderbender2476 who found the evidence board cutscene in the files.

Would've been cool if there was an extra side mission/DLC after the ending. Maybe some missions to bridge the gap between John waking up and suddenly being able to shift again after the credits.
Missing a beer is always a bad choice.
I want a sequel to it as well, with newer cars, and some more cars to the Bay City Police Department fleet, or even better, deputy sheriff, or state troopers, as well as undercover cars with lights.
We Want Driver San Francisco 2, we want Driver San Francisco Remastered or Expanded and Enhanced in a good way. We want the shift mechanic back with the incredible driving physics and a great storyline with a huge variety of cars to choose from

Why remastered? I like it as it is, the trees just need a bit fixing about graphics.

@@Pro_Gamer672 Maybe a different car rooster, another map, more story missions or missions and activities in general.. could add to the fun
There's nothing like it, the tension and action like DSF is just unique. If there happens to be a sequel, I'd be damned.
It would've been cool if The Crew was a Driver SF sequel instead where Tanner and Jones has to chase down all of the escaped criminals across the USA, and maybe Rufus could be the main antagonist.
I wonder if it'd ever be possible to have map mods for this wonderful game.
I've wanted sequel for years!
“Jones I had everything under control!”
Facts We need a new Driver game ASAP ubi
"Youre about to wreck to my damn car! Now can we please get that beer?"
"beer?" "*no*"
I like to think that the ambient chases that happen in freeroam are the escaped convicts in a stolen car. But when you shift into it. It’s a different set of characters. It would be cool if you could chase the convicts like in a normal chase, Or shift into their car and turn them in. I feel like they should’ve kept that last cutscene and had a side mission after you finish the story where you capture a certain amount of escaped convicts. Like in Batman Arkham Origins where after you finish the story you get a side mission where you have to capture 20 escaped Blackgate Prisoners. I think either the Survival event or Tanner’s Challenger should have been a reward for taking down all the convicts if it was a side objective in the final game as a completion reward. But that’s just me. I would like to know if anyone feels the same about this idea or not. Feel free to let me know what you think.
Never really put any thoughs of the ending, but you right, it seemed like that there should have been some endgame content or DLC's for the game, but they probably cut these out for whatever reason.
We all know Driver turned into Watchdogs, which was originally a Driver game, where instead of being in a coma and being able to teleport into cars, you could kind of hack the city's infrastrucuture, just like in WD. I do not even think Reflections studio still exists, so getting a new Driver game is sadly has near zero chance....

@@MineAndDrive I did not know that. Well I will keep my hopes up then...
Driver: San Francisco is Extremely Hysterical and Frivolous i’ve laughed at the entire scene. That This Is When The Events That Occurred Happened When John Tanner Is In A Coma John Tanner Doesn’t Know Remember Realize That He’s In A Coma. But Charles Jericho Tells Him, John Tanner Now That He Remembered Knows Realizes Hes In A Coma. Tobias Jones Thinks That John Tanner Has To Get Hospitalized. Tobias Jones Has A Negative Reaction Of A Shift And Doesn’t Care.
So Jones is Barney Calhoun?
Sucks there’s not gonna be a sequel. Ubisoft took a shit in the turn of the 2010s I feel like.
Can you make a green screen when you of the que when you complete a story mission?
What you mean, it's bugging you? Jones is referencing the beginning of the game, where he asked Tanner, to "let this thing go" and have a beer with him, rather, than watching Jericho being transported from the prison to his... execution, I suppose. It's a simple reference, to the beginning of the story. Simple, as that. Also, you don't just not have a beer. Doesn't matter, how much the world is ending in San Francisco, or whatever. Dude gotta have his beer first.
Driver San Francisco Jericho: “By the time they figured out this shit storm, you’ll be sippin’ mojitos, and they’ll be chasing 200 psychos across the country.” NFS The Run - Race starts from San Francisco - Race take place across the entire USA Sam: “There’s over 200 other drivers and about 3000 miles of asphalt between here and New York.” Interesting 😂
Cool, interesting
I get that the Shift mechanic was all in Tanner's head, but I'm a bit disappointed it was completely dropped. It seemed to be more mystical than it was, and the purpose and existence of all those side missions never got explained. I'm also just not a fan of the "it was all a dream" cop-out. It leaves almost zero room for theory crafting. Game is still amazing though. Leave it to Ubisoft to never follow up a great idea. (cough Rayman Legends cough)
I'm more curious how the hell the 440's back, and tanner survived, granted I saw a Chevy camaro Z28 that got wrecked after being wrapped around a pole and somehow the driver survived, a 1969 survivor that a kid who was working on it took for a test drive, and that car IS getting fixed but he was on the opposite side of the impact, tanner was blunt side impact with a 16 wheeler in a car from 1970, it would have been far more believable if it was a roll over from getting hit behind, and falling over into the construction site that we start out in but not that, and they didnt start fitting side impact bars into the doors until like the late 70's which is why euro spec cars are on average about 450 to a 500 pounds lighter than their american counter parts, hence why collectors pay more for them, more power, less weight, but also less of well that, plus what you said, which I always thought ment Leila is still out there, also I was always bumbed that the game had a constant day look to it, like this map is so detailed yet we never get to see it at night, in the rain, fog and everything else I mean it was one of the most ironic things about the nightmare missions, i wanted to see more of them purely so I can see the map in a far more inventive way granted the fact that I played the crap out of angel studio's Midtown Madness 2 and the SF level probably didnt help any as that plus mod support, and how crazy the multiplayer could get in freemode, with dump trucks, knight 2000's and the whole just driving up and all over everything like maybe that's why I never enjoyed driver SF that much, it had two less cities, no weather, and I had already had way more fun in that, also I never got to play the mutliplayer, and never had a PC that could run it that well which might be why I play gta 5 so much, the wackyness the fanbase gets up to, I was playing dodge the ramp truck with a lambo earlier and well I had a completely dynamic fight with an F35 fighter jet like something out of diehard 4 with the bentley, diety thing, cant do that in driver if only we could dump the brits ruining the thing in the harbor with the rest of the tea, the people who removed all those cars just to make a fast buck in a 10 year old game like havent you got enough gold plating on your bentley sir, why do you need it in your head yet

Well, in response to some of that: The Challenger is back because it's a game. It's like questioning how the prison van is so ridiculously fast when Jericho's driving it. (And multiple other things) Leila got arrested in the game. Albeit in Tanner's coma, but due to him hearing things through the hospital TV, we can only assume she got arrested in real life and it was on the news. The game probably has only a day look to it for the most part because the game runs at 60fps. This is an open world fast paced driving game at 60fps from the year 2011, with shift. They already dumbed down on things to make it run as smooth as possible. If you want rain and night time, more than likely it would have to run at 30fps, but night time then includes lighting from cars, street lights, buildings etc, and rain is EVEN just as bad as that. Yes it would be nice, but not necessary. Also two less cities yet, I'm pretty sure that San Fran is bigger than Driv3r's maps combined. Mulitplayer on Driver SF is great fun when you have others to play with, also mods are available for the game on PC, but adding cars in the game is not possible currently

@@MineAndDrive fair point, scope and all that, I will say they always tried something new. more than what we can say for dear old rockstar at this point maybe if the crash with the challenger hadnt been so bad I could have bought it better, plus their was no hellcat or super versions of it out back then so it would have been a downgrade if tanner suddenly showed up in a new one to match the new camaro like Jones was driving also as an FYI that final warehouse scene, is from the movie the driver, the main inspiration for the original game and even showed up in the tv show that I think gave them the idea for the challenger, and two cops riding around in an old E body like that, the old nash bridges tv show which while not good, was still better than Walker texas ranger back in the day and was a product of its time and stone cold steve austin was always good in it
