Welcome to the club

I tried to acquire a copy on Antilli a few months back, and I found that what the Driver community needs more than anything is an organized place where to openly publish all the tools and mods, digging through a discord for hours to find the latest version is absolutelly not a fun way to start your modding journey, and the AppVeyor artifacts dissapear after a month.

I think one of the reasons this happened is because I never really saw my modding tools taking off as well as they have. Content distribution isn't really my forte, I'm just a single programmer doing most of the work myself. I've been meaning to get things streamlined, but I switch between things quite frequently. One day it'll be less frustrating to get into Driver modding, though!

@@Bittboy I'm not blaming you, things have changed since I started, forums now seem to be second class places, and everything happens on Discord servers and Telegram groups, but in a community as yound as the DPL one, this becomes an issue, as there's no other second option from a legacy site that somewhat maintains links alive, it funnels you into the hardcore community that just knows the things from word of mouth.

@@jesse143_ I mean generally, when it comes to new discoveries and development of whatever, not just Driver. The Telegram thingy is something I noticed when I went back to Android development and with the whole e-scooter customization community.

i miss that game very much. this is the king of underrated games.

plot twist: that green aston martin is an iconic early 2006/7 car mod from gta san andreas, now it made it's way as an early driver car mod... excellent

Finally, I definitely needed this from quite a long time ago so so bad :''D Now we can finally remaster these vehicle models to be either realistic or HD, and put some realistic interior models in them for first person in-car camera mod.

I had no idea there were some real car mods for DPL... I have rich experience with GTA car mods but this... would be also cool. However I suppose those cars you showed here are the only ones for this game.

There are a bit more, and more are in the works by Jesse and Sunrise. It's also "easy" to port vehicles from DRIV3R to DPL and vice-versa (I think)

You forget mention I also was behind the Delorean mainly for make that mod work

first time watching how Driver PL can be modded internally. What's simpler is that we can add 4 more cars that could perform the exact same but different 3D files of chassis for those 4 body part tune slots. It is possible to make machinimas more quickly and if there's a trainer that could change the bodypart instantly and making replay mode available saved in a .mov or .mp4 file. I'm sorry for commenting on an old video but I can't for the life of me figure out how to download Antilli (it just says there are no artifacts all the time) and trying to research this program just leads me to the bike.. :^( Any idea?

I wish a massive car mod for Driver SF

So for some reason when I import a car from Driv3r to Driver: Parallel Lines or vice versa, it's like the models get all mixed up. For instance, get out of the car and instead of the door opening the entire back side of the car swings to the side. And sometimes wheels, hoods, doors, etc. are invisible, the models don't show up right at all. I tried to insert the upvh file after that once I learned how to finish the steps, and it just crashed the game as soon as the vehicle spawned in. Is there a trick to this? Or am I missing something?

There's a few comments on here confused about the installation of Antilli. The website listed shows nothing but lines of code which most people don't know what to make of. There isn't a direct installation process.

It's all cool and all, but i have few problems with this game. First one is that, there is no rare cars on the streets in Driver Parallel Lines. I mean, i can't find many sport cars and even dozer. Cause they don't spawn in the game. And i don't know why. Also, i'm playing PC version of the game. And the second problem is that, on Windows 7 x64 this game crashes back to desctop a lot with APPCRASH error. I was trying different things to make it work, like compatibility mode with Windows XP SP3 and other different versions of Windows, and nothing works. I mean, it works for a little bit, but when i wanted to change the era or replay the missions, then game crashes with that same error. And then i decided to look in to Windows Events for the details of the crash, and it said that the reason for crash was ntdll .dll file. That this file causing the game to crash on era change or when trying to replay any mission. But then, when i tried to play the game again, and try to replay missions, it gave me another error, that doesn't have name of ntdll file in it. It simply refers to DriverParallelLines exe file itself. And i have no idea, why this is happening. So yeah, any help with my problems would be nice.

The importer is very unfinished and needs to be completed or replaced with something else. Hopefully sometime this year!
