As a car nut I always disagree with these videos because they're usually quite lazily researched, but all of these are bang on. The Cerrano is exactly what I thought it'd be. Nice job dude!

Strangely enough, the sequel to this game, and Driver '76, actually DID have licensed cars and, yes, the AMC Pacer was one of the cars that was in the game. It is shameful that the AMX, S/C Rambler, Rebel "The Machine Edition," Javelin, Ambassador, Ambassador Wagon, Spirit, Concord, Hornet, or Matador were never in that game, though.

That's why Driver is the best game driving ever.

i love the engine sound of the cars, they are so powerful.

The Andec later appears in The Crew as wreck car. Why has Watch Dogs no Easter Egg on anything from this game depite being the reason for the development

I come to ground in 1981 and I know all models and almost all songs of that era.

Cerrano is definately an AMC Javelin.

the 2006 Taxi seems more like a Chevy than a Ford Crown Vic

Awesome vid. But I remember, there was a problem with cars in the game. I spent many and many hours playing this game, but I have seen only once the firetruck, I have never seen the mediccar in the new era, some cars were only in missions :-(

Dmitriy K. It was in a mission in the 2006 era.🔫 it was hard because you had to fight the tank! Then when you did the final story mission you got the ram raider(armored sports car)and the negotiator AKA the tank!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

the guys from Ubisoft are clairvoyant because the 2006 taxi has the front of the American version of the Fockus mk2 from 2011 and the game is from 2006

3:25 the ford interceptor concept is the police car in 2006 but in real life and not is the only car in driver parallel lines, also appears in nfsmw 2005 is named police civic cruiser but in the rockport police department version

Hah, it's been forever since I played Parallel Lines. I don't even remember the Dodge Intrepid look alike. I kinda wanna go back and play it now.

@Driver2Vegas yeah, it looks better than the previous version, it was hard to find some cars, but now it's satisfying to know that when you drive a car in Driver PL you know that you drive a car that looks like Cadillac, Ford ...

Driver is a great game ! but i wish they would know that the checker marathon was not the only taxi type in nyc at the time. I know of lots but i can name two for you right now . The Dodge Diplomat was a taxi too and so was the ford crown victoria but that was just starting to come in use at the time like 1977-1979 and then got big. But there was lots like over 12 type's.

@jockkingcrib120110 thanks, it's one of my favorite songs of Driver PL, some cars were easier a some harder, some examples are the pick up of 1978 era and the garbage truck, in the game TK wears like that, that was the fashion of the 70s

To be precise this Econoline generation already started in 1975 so it doesn't need to be younger than 1978. And it's just a game.

The '55 Chevy is NOT what that gold colored car is even close to looking like. It is nearly identical to an early 50's Ford or Mercury. 1950 thru 1954.
