Hi good job. Is the multimeter setting you put on in the first place the one you took all the readings from. Only mine, on the second reading registers zero.🤔. Mick.

Hi Mike, In the very first reading checked the batteries. After floor cover removal firstly I have checked the incoming voltage, then the outgoing voltage. That was nearly zero for me, too. That was helping to identify the problem is with that control panel.

In the rear tran axle on a scout 4. It looks like a worm drive gear it's broken where can I get 1?????

Thanks! I changed the control module just like you and I have the same problem. Light is off, scooter won’t move. Any more ideas?

Hi Robert, Are you sure the new control panel is ok? May the magnetic break? Sorry, but I am not sure without investigation.

I have a drive scout DST 4 wheel scooter, just replaced the batteries brand new ones. But the red light still flashes saying to check the connections on the batteries. A friend will be checking that tonight for me . Any other tips you could give us that might help find why it won’t move ? It was brought bak to me from Florida, had only been used very few times , looks brand new . It sat for 4 years, but was plugged in for a day and a half , then was taken for a short ride because the batteries didn’t hold much of a charge . It was parked and brought back to me ! One guy said it needed a new motor, but another said he didn’t believe it had been used enough for it to be the motor. I don’t have the $700.00 dollars for a new motor that the guy said it needed, was just hoping for some tips to get it running , some different things to try !! I’m looking at a major back surgery in a few months, so I would appreciate any help you could help me out with! Thank you ! Deb

Hi Deb, Sorry for the late response. I hope your scooter has been fixed. In my opinion the engine can’t be faulty. I have another video on KZread where I show a control panel issue and it’s replacement. Anyway, the long time mis-use is the biggest enemy of the batteries.

Hi Vance, If you are sure the battery is ok, it could be a couple of things. Wire, fuse, control panel. I can’t tell you without investigation what is wrong.

Where did you buy that regulator? My scooter is doing the exact same thing

Hi, Count how many flashes do you see and search by the number for the error code. May a new battery will needed shortly.

Hi can some one help my battery is definitely ok but when a turn key for power the light is just flashing green won’t move do I need same part you put in dc motor thing ?

Hi Liam, I don’t want to guess and without diagnostics I cannot advise. To guess and change any part and realise that wasn’t wrong it leads to waste your money. Please visit an expert ask for a diagnostic.

Mine takes off just fine but only goes about 1/2 block the locks up then I must sit there for a 45 minutes or so then it’s work just long enough to get back home and locked up again????????

Hi Glen, Your brake is broken I presume according your description. There is a modul, that need to replace.

Amigo scooter works but - when charging or key inside we hear a whistle nonstop. My parents thought it was their ears cause of age but no- cause I hear it and it’s from her amigo scooter. So weird. I

Hi, You can buy from ebay new key. Search for make and model. It’s easy and cheap. There is no difference in key within same model.

@@georgesworkshop8600 only problem is, the battery runs down SO fast. Right now I'm just using it to walk my dogs, but if I wanted to go to say, a fair or festival or something, it would be worthless because the battery is on red after just 20-30 minutes of run time. And new batteries are STEEP! Any ideas for a cheap fix for this? I did have to buy a charger, I lost the one that came with it. Do you think it could be that?

Hi Abby, Could you count how many beeping is there when you turn the key to on position? Different problems are indicated with different numbers beeping. If you know how many you can search on internet for the error code and the solution.

Ten minutes to tell us to change the control module..... there, I did it in 5 seconds!
