    I have a 7kg beko dryer with the drawer at the bottom. I have been getting this error message 1 month after purchase. I had a technician out and watched exactly what he did and have had to take it apart myself a few times since. I had a new tech out and he could not find a problem. It is very frustrating having to clean every filter every time and empty the drawer at the back that is screwed in.

    I did that, I found a sock just like you in the tube below the machine, but when we plugged it back, the washing machine just started filling with water and won't stop unless we unplug it, what did we do wrong?

    Just got one of these mint but second hand watching these video's before I use , mine is 8kg 1600 I thought if you got a 8kg machine you could put upto 8kg in it but the manual seems to say you can only put 3 kg in on daily 59 wash am I reading that correctly as this seems daft if its a 8 kg machine must admit im a little confused regarding this and I can't seem to find any viedos for this machine that helps clarify this , so if someone can explain I would be very gratefull even on mixed it seems to say you can only put in 4kg so whats the point of it being a 8k machine...??? And will / could it damage it if you put more in even if its under 8kg doesn't any make sense to me ...

  • @georgesworkshop8600
    @georgesworkshop8600Ай бұрын

    Hi Karl, The reason for that a 3kg dry load will become 7/8kg wet load. If you exceed the recommended weight limit a couple times it won’t happened too much, but if you regularly do the same that will shorten your machine life.

The lock mechanism works; locks; unlocks fine(I have to wait a while before it unlocks). It just doesn't seem to be convinced the door is locked. • @georgesworkshop8600
    @georgesworkshop8600Ай бұрын

    Hi Mac, I don’t think is there any dirt in the lock mechanism. I’d rather say the stick that is going into the mechanism is worn ( rounded down) and the mechanism can’t hold it firmly.

    @@georgesworkshop8600 🤔yeah. Well I changed the doorlock. It still complains. It works when i push the door extra tight. Pin looks fine. Maybe the door is offset at the hinges. I pulled that plastic cover off the back and water in bottom. I removed water. It's been kept a clean machine. blew down pipes all good. So, how do I know if the pump is not working? Since he missed out a lot of relevant info... The battery box is held in position on the scooter by its power connector on the underside of the box, plus Velcro style tape, and gravity. To remove the screws on the bottom of the box... I can't tell the size, but he used a long 'cross head' screwdriver - also referred to as a 'Phillips head' screwdriver - and then a little magnet on the end of an extendable stalk. Assuming most people don't have a magnet... The screws will fall out of their holes when you turn over the box to be able to lift off the top cover. Make sure you keep track of them when they do fall out. If you put a small piece of sticky tape over each hole before you turn the box over, the screws will stick to that and not get lost. The two batteries inside the box are standard 'deep cycle sealed lead acid' batteries. They're '18-12' batteries. (Also known as '12v 18Ah' or 12 volt, 18 amp hour batteries.) You can get various different brands and styles/capacities on Amazon and eBay, Walmart, Autozone, Nappa, etc. He didn't share what size socket/wrenches he used to remove the wires from the batteries, but to be honest yours might be different anyway so that's forgivable. The batteries are held in place by more Velcro style tape which is why they needed to be wiggled & pulled up. He replaced the original batteries with two slightly heavier & longer lasting ones = 12v 22Ah. He did not replace or even reuse the Velcro tape on the bottom of the new batteries, but you really should use it, for safety sake. Many batteries come ready charged. However, they'll hold more charge and last longer if they're fully charged again before being used, ideally for 12 hours. That can also be done using an ordinary car battery charger before they're installed if you can get by with using the old ones for a while. You're welcome. 😁

    Hi. I followed your video tutorial and was able to replace the hose in my washing machine. Thanks! I have another problem now. My washing machine drum won't spin even when it is empty. It starts to fill with water and then stops at the point the drum would start spinning. I can drain the water so I know none of the hoses are clogged. The belt is on the wheel at the back of the machine correctly and not worn out. I plan on buying a new washing machine in two months when we move, and would really love for our current washing machine to last two more months if possible. Does this sound like something I could maybe fix myself? Do you think it's a sensor in the machine that controls the belt? That sounds like a job for a repair person. Thanks so much for your help.
