Nice video. One item I noticed on my wife's Go-Go. It was not going that fast as before. In checking it, I find the lever is a bit loose. In looking at it it takes a 1/3 movement to get the cart to move. The forward and reverse arm will move a lot. So removing the 4 screws that hold my top cover on (there are different tops), I push the wire going in at the bottom of the handle tube to get the plastic connection at top up enough to pop off the 6 connector plug (there is a clip you have to pop up to release the plug). I then lift up the lever and see there is a tiny Allen wrench nut in there. After 20 min I find my Allen wrench bag and find this second to smallest Allen wrench. It put on the arm, tighten it snug (not too tight) and put it all back together (10 min if I had the Allen wrench). We do a Walmart trip and she is racing ahead of me. So if your forward/reverse are is loose, and can move a distance forward and back, that Allen nut is most likely loose. Since, when loose, it can only go back before hitting the handle, the speed control is not moving to full speed. My model also has a "fancy" cover by the speed dial, and hides the screws. They snap off by a small slot towards the seat. You only need to catch the cover snap to get it off. Don't try to take off the cover held on by screws.

Okay, so I found out that there is a triangular knob on the front that needs to point UP in order for the wheels to move easily. The knob should be turned to the side when you're transporting the base to make it more stable. Duh...Thanks for including this in one of your videos. :) I now have a question about charging the battery. When the battery needs charged, the light on the charging block is red. When leaving it plugged into the wall socket and the other end into the battery and leaving it for a while, the light briefly blinks green and then back to red before going off. Then it starts the cycle again. Does this mean the battery is ready to go or is there a charging problem? The instruction manual just says the light will turn green, and nothing about blinking to red and then off. What can I do to improve the turn radius? Right now the turning radius is so wide I won't be able to maneuver well. Help!

Linda Miles Titan Drive Wheel Chair won't move yellow lights blinking 9 times. Manual code # indicates battery or charger. Bought new batteries Charged, still don't run. Light still blinking. Now running down wiring to see if it loose anywhere. Fuses ok. Any other solutions?

Had to replace the auto-folding control box on my wife's scooter. I then discovered that it wouldn't move. I was prepared to take things apart again, then watched this video. I had completely forgotten about the neutral lever! Duh. Success, thank you so much. My wife thinks I am a genius.

My little brother has the same kind of mobility scooter and he bumps that lever on everything almost everyday and he always yells at our mom or sisters to push that damn lever down every time....it is so frustrating! I'm glad I moved out of that house 3 years ago.

Front wheels are sometimes locked. Check the front turning knob and make sure it is going up according to what scooter girl said.

hi scooter girl... I have a 778 e l shoprider mobility scooter tonight when I went to move it beat but the handle for forward and reverse has no spring to it and is very loose my ShopRite are now is sitting and not moving I'm not sure what the problem is can you help?

How long the battery last

remember to turn key off before changing the lever, otherwise some models will still beep even when lever is placed to the proper location.

I switched to driver mode but still flashing the left light on the battery display what is that problem?

One thing i noticed early on you incorrectly mentioned you probably had the scooter in Drive to easily push it in your garage or something, but the beeping is b/c you have the scooter in "NEUTRAL" causing the error

Mine did this because I had the charger still plugged into battery but not the wall

When you pull the lever up the batteries go and click it and then it goes

Turn your screen turn the key on you master little lever to go and it goes quick quick

Duh... Wow.. Mind boggling.

Read the #%& manual that comes with the scooter, get help from an honest scooter sales/repair place. Charge battery overnight every two weeks when scooter is not being used, don't let them self-discharge and go dead

I have that problem, but its not this. Getting frustrated.

0:40 A terrible error, " If my scooter is in drive I can push it", if it is in drive you can't push it. Fix that.

She made a mistake, she said when it's in drive she can push it, that is wrong, it has to be in neutral to be pushed by hand.

the cover where the lever is located won't come off to see why beeping even with all the screws out that part is a secret

Your right John....should be in neutral to push.

Why won't my scooter run

at 0.42 secs you gave incorrect information. If it is in DRIVE, you Can't push it. In NUETRAL you can. Just like a car.

Scooters utilize an electronic or electromechanical dynamic, regenerative braking system. This type of braking system works in tandem with the motor, first to slow and then stop the vehicle when the pressure is released on the thumb levers or the controls are otherwise disengaged. When the scooter is not being powered forward or in reverse, the brakes are engaged, thus preventing the scooter from moving. During the application of the brakes, excess power from the motor is channeled to the batteries, providing recharging. Because the brakes are engaged when the scooter is being actively powered, most scooters with this braking system are equipped with a clutch on the motor or another release lever to manually disengage the brakes to allow the scooter to be pushed in case of emergency. Some scooters also use disc brakes or disc brakes in combination with the braking system discussed above. Some scooters-usually front-wheel drive models-are not equipped with electronic or electromechanical brakes. In the absence of a brake system, a manual parking brake applied by lever to a rear wheel is provided. Manual parking brakes may also be offered either as optional or standard features on other scooters to provide extra braking on hills and inclines.

That should say don’t put it in “neutral” on a hill, “drive” is what engages the motor to slow it
