My favourite tekken of all, cause Bruce and tag combos are awesome here.

It makes me happy to see max play a fighting game he's not god mode at. When he lands a long combo you can actually tell he's getting super excited and feels good about it! This tekken legacy has got me so hyped for tekken 7! Great videos max!

Does Unknown do any of her crazy shit in this version? She seemed a lot harder on my xbox 360 version. Like that pillar of light that drained almost all your health or her forcefully tagging out your character.

Fun note about Tekken's music One of the composers is Keiichi Okabe, composer of the _legendary_ NieR and NieR Automata soundtracks. (And I'm at least 75% sure the track you commented on was one of his tracks. Definitely has the NieR Recycled Vessel vibe.)

I was not expecting those link costumes at all and I'm glad they're a thing

Watching this at 1.5 speed makes it so awesome.

This is the Wii U version right? Anyway, I'm still waiting/hoping for a Tekken Tag 1 & Tekken Tag 2 collection on PS4. If they can release that and have dedicated servers for online, I think we'd all be happy.

Ibenq Turbo she does that shit AND counter grab on ultra hard which she won't do much on normal difficulty (you can tell because they show the ranks and allow custom costumes for CPU

Best Tekken game in my opinion. The most characters, the most beautiful stages full of detail and personality. A really neat tag system. And to top it all off my main Armor King. Even got a pop of him on my shelf.

There's something utterly hilarious about watching 2 dudes dressed as Link taking turns to beat the shit outta people.

Early 2017 is almost heeeeeere.

Tekken 6 is the best one, if you pay attention, every character have different camera approaches and angles, and the tune pumps you to fight, that select screen it's badass to say the least

Soooooo pumped atm. 2 god-damned hours until T7 is out. LET'S GO!

When you connect the throw at the end of a combo with Lars you can shoulder for the wall ender.

This is my favorite Tekken game...but I prefer the ps3/360 ver. I had too many issues with the Wii U version.

Here's a tip, Max: Jin's 1+2 punch move is very useful in tight situations and does a lot of damage. Also, Jin's forward + right leg kick(4) is a powerful kick that is useful for reaching opponents that are further away and this kick can link into some punch moves after. You should also mix in more low hitting moves to damage high-guarding opponents.

I don't like how they changed True ogre's and Ogre's name. They'll always be Ogre and True ogre to me!

Man, for me Tekken Tag 2 was the best Tekken game. I used to play Lars on point and then Kunimitsu as the second character. I had a combo where Lars would do a string and then a launcher with a dash and calling in Kunimitsu, she would appear on the other side with both characters on each side of the opponent doing a combo at the same time and finishing with a Kunimitsu air grab. Man, that whole setup did about 80% damage. If you did that twice it was gg all the way. I spent days practicing and perfecting the timing. I won so Manny matches with that setup that I sadly got banned from the game on XBL...

This was the Definitive Tekken game!

Is this game beginner friendly? I've been wanting to get into this game (let alone series) for quite a while now. However, with the lack of Playstation systems that I hold, I can't really get a whole lot of these games. The only one that I want (aside from 7 on Steam) is Tag 2 Wii U Edition, but I obviously know next to nothing about the fighting mechanics or combo structure. Will it have some mode like a detailed training mode, or will I have to figure things out on my own?

This is the LEAST beginner friendly Tekken game in the entire series,lol. You would do better just getting Tekken 7 honestly and learning from there since its newer and is the one everyone will be playing, not only that, you dont have to worry about learning complicated tag combos. This game is harder because not only do you have to learn characters combos, moves, ect, you have to also learn tag combos and how the tag system works. There IS an in game mode called "fight lab" that can help you tho. You can also look up youtube videos, go to Tekken Zaibatsu website, ect.

The Tekken I've put more time into since T2 T3 & T4

So the reason some characters refused to die is they had no tag partner - Ogre, Jun, Unknown all instead have constantly regenerating health and will not die unless you've killed them past their red hp bar. It may look like thy have a pixel left but it's only a pixel of blue health.
