I am a Christian devoted to Jesus.... While praying I asked Jesus to help me know him in a deeper way. I started thinking about the cross & crying but said to the Lord, I know there's more & I want to understand more. Then I felt like Jesus showed me beyond the physical pain but the pain of having our sin cast on him: the emotional pain of guilt, knowing the pain that was caused because of vile acts that destroyed ppl lives, unspeakable acts that traumatized children, women and whole societies and understanding the pain and resulting sin carried from generation to generation. Jesus saw ALL of it and the result was cast on Him. I can only imagine how the physical pain of the cross had to be much less than what He felt and experienced considering that He is a HOLY GOD! A HOLY GOD plagued with detestable sins. That had to be pure torture to Jesus. As He cried, "It is finished" experiencing the release of the pain of the world. I still feel like there is more to understand and I want to understand as much as I can in this Earthly body.

@@wesley7312 Absolutely! I know everyone prays differently. Some are silent, some whisper and some meditate. I might be a bit different in that when I come before the Lord, I come before Him silently and strive to be still and wait on Him. Then things come to mind, maybe I begin praying for someone or a situation or even our Country. Then I wait quietly again and usually I start wondering about things. I ask the Lord about them. Now, I know that the Lord is my Father and loves me so I feel okay to ask Him questions. I ask out loud. I talk to Him out loud and ask for understanding. But, you must bare your whole heart to Him, all the good and bad, with contrition, faith and love for Him. Of course He knows before you ask and I'm sure He's ready to blanket you in His Holy Spirit. Wait on Him. Love Him. Praise Him. Read Deuteronomy 6:4-6. Memorize it, through your day let it come to your mind and feel it with all your heart! I will most earnestly pray for you brother! When He touches the deep places of your heart tell people and bless them with His love for you. ❤️

Jesus hear my cries. I’m seeking guidance through fasting, prayer. As a single mother I feel so alone. God I know my faith in you will get me through my hardships I’ve been facing with my sons as a single mother. Both of my sons are special needs and require much from me. Lord I’m trusting your plan but as I struggle to pay bills every month and as I struggle to buy groceries I ask that you give me strength to hold my head up because I’m ashamed.
