Hi Paul. Love your videos, they are great! But you should be very careful about re-drilling cast aluminium wheels, they might loose their structural integrity and might end up a lot more dangerous than they were before. Just a heads up. Wouldn't it be a lot better to use whatever wheel nuts the rim was designed for?

I did use the correct lug nuts, but wanted to make sure the taper is just right. The wheels could be more dangerous now that I drilled them, but there is still a lot of material left under the lug nuts, so maybe it will be ok.

Hi Paul, did you get any shake in your steering wheel after installing the lift with your all terrain tires? I did the same and at low speeds 30mph Im getting a slight shake with 235 75 15's

My RAV4 actually drives pretty well, but I do get a bit of clunking from the suspension. I didn't install the thin rubber things between the rear springs and trailing arms and I think the springs are making some noise when touching metal on metal.

@Lab Coat Paul man I had totally forgot about those rubber isolators my mechanic just put the old ones on. But no clunking in my end so maybe they were still good.

I have the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 in LT225/75R16. They're great tires, but too heavy for the RAV4. I recommend going with a passenger car tire instead of light truck.

You drilled way to much there's no meat left those wheels were designed for those lug nuts and had the taper I don't see why you did that

Of all the good looking direct fit OEM toyota wheels you could have gone with, and instead that less than ideal solution. Yikes.

It was the cheapest option. I think it will work just fine. I'll let you know if my wheels fall off.
