Great info and graphics.. plus, a great decision to paint the interior walls black. It's really easy to follow the flight of the ball against the dark backdrop.

When I'm drilling I like to have the drilling player complete the skill X number of times, rather than compete. We'll do +/- so a success is +1 a miss is -1. If it's dinks out of the air, anything other than an unattackable ball is -1. They have to get to 20 or 30 or 50 depending on difficulty/capability. This way it isn't just about the skill, but at execution at a high percentage. The only way to "win" is to execute the drilled skill.

Hey great video. Thanks! I like it: Come with an improvement plan in mind. Focus on that skill set. Drill in a way that both partners improve on something, on the focus skill set and the responsive skill set. Perform the skill in a competitive environment.

At 4:10 you stepped back off the NVZ line. I hear advanced players at my club telling less advanced players to never back up while being attacked with a speed up. Can you do a video on "backing up off the line" if you haven't yet made one?

When I do the drill for resets, I award the other player an extra point if they reach the kitchen line and they say "kitchen" once their feet and balance is established. They could win 2 points per rally, one for the rally itself and one for reaching the kitchen line. It helps to reinforce the idea of neutralizing the advantage by reaching the kitchen line.

Great tutorial! When Tyler is dropping as he is transitioning from the baseline, his paddle is turned to the side? Is that how he got it lower to the net?

Not necessarily! Id say, loosen your grip, lift the ball, keep a short backswing! And hit a 1000 if them!

You need one more step. Integration. Every isolated skill needs to be integrated into a typical play sequence so the brain can easily encode it as part of the whole. Example, start with a 3rd shot drop or midcourt reset into a skinny dink. In a real dink rally, there's lots of movement. During isolation, you tend not to move your feet enough. Great ideas!
